I really wish we'd gotten to see that hallway rats nest building scene  BBJ is shown as all fun and games and none of that comfort/security Jo mentions every chance she gets. She chose him and seems very happy right now with him, so I'm sure he brings some sort of element of safety and that scene would have been a nice touchstone for seeing that.

They can't show that this early IMO, even to the unspoiled viewer, a lot can already tell she is gone, closed shop, made her choice.
They have to at least try and maintain the suspense for a few weeks longer.

I have a feeling that scene might have been her apologising to him for questioning him early that night.
When she was in tears with the guys, talking about the article, she says specifically to him 'Have you seen this?'
My guess is she felt terrible about questioning him and that led to the rats nest scene.

So no way they could show it.
