Cat owns and runs her own stationary company, LoweCo. It's a legit business.

Sean's business is legit too. It can be tracked to various properties in Dallas that he and his business partner have bought and sold.

I know I have this subject, and know that nothing is guaranteed, but there is a lot to be said for the typical 9-5 job where you are employed. Think ahead. I work for a very large company that has lifetime medical coverage, 401K, pension plan, etc. To go from business to business may be fun and creative, but when you and your spouse don't have a more "traditional or stable" job, it's just frightening to me. What have they had - card company with someone else, and now a new card company, a clothing line, a furniture shop, on and on. Maybe they have plenty in savings, who knows. I don't blame anyone for shilling if they can get the extra bucks, but relying on that is too risky for my taste, especially when neither of them has the traditional job for benefits.

I would love, love to see how much net rev Cat's $15/pop paper napkins or whatever make. As for Sean, I've read enough about his business acumen to last a lifetime. Imo.

It's more mainstream now, the shilling. I credit SeanCat for being the first real, high profile opportunists from this franchise though. They really went for it - balls to the wall kinda before it was the "norm." True crusaders here, these two.  

I'm just glad they avoided the whole "lifestyle" blog everyone else from the franchise seems to find necessary to start. I'll take starting their own businesses over that any day of the week. JMO

Huh? Sean has a blog. He's a blogger. I don't frequent, because well, I just don't care about their day-to-day, but that's how we learned about his complete over share with the lien out on his name or whatever.

What I'd like to know, and I don't recall Sean ever addressing, is whether when the Bach led to opportunities and money (which I don't begrudge them for- heck I'd do it if I could) , did he repay the investors from his failed business? There was a lot of whining imo about how hard it was to have to talk to the investors, and again, imo, a lot of patting self on the back because he spoke to investors when his partners wouldn't. Once he "came into" money, did he make any effort to repay the investors the lost money? I especially remember the investor who invested his daughter's wedding fund. It broke my heart to think of that Dad having to tell his daughter her wedding fund was gone.

Sean doesn't have a token lifestyle blog like nearly all the others. He shares things like dog Halloween costume ideas, shark attack escape videos, and pics from their social media. **edited**

Unless someone asks him and he answers we will probably never know. And if he has and kept it quiet he would probably be attacked for that somehow. JMO

^ He never misses an opportunity to pat himself on the back, so imo, if he had repaid investors, he would have shouted it from the rooftops.

Shilling is shilling as shilling is shilling. Maybe Sean doesn't hock products in his blog, idk, like I said, I don't frequent. But he certainly hocks products elsewhere, and he's practically TM'd his SeanCat brand.  So I'm not about to put him on some pedestal and give him a trophy for winning at life just because he (maybe?) exhibits some disrection with his blog advertising.
