Chase McNary - Bachelorette 12 - **Sleuthing - Spoilers**

I think Chase would be very similar to Ben as a bachelor. A good guy with the right reasons for doing it. I do watch the Bach/Ette for entertainment but I also truly like it when the lead picks my favorite and I see a potential true love story. My last favorite couple was JP and Ash before my now all time fave BenLo!!

I really hope Chase isn't F1 and gets a chance to be Bachelor.

I'm so conflicted with Chase - I would love to see him be the F1, but I would also want him to not be F1 because so far he's the only contestant i would like to see as the Bachelor

I don't think there is a snowball chance that JoJo is picking anyone not named Jordan Rodgers. I think the second both of these guys were cast, the Jo^3 ending was preordained and captain obvious.

I like Chase mostly because I see genuine and authentic qualities similar to Ben. For me, Ben (and Lauren) were lightening in a bottle and not likely to be repeated for a good long while (you have to wade through several/many seasons of suck with this franchise to get to something real and awesome, IMO), but I think of JoJo's sad little lot, Chase gives us the best chance to hopefully recreate something like that. Just my opinion.

My take: TPTB don't know who or what they are going with next season as of yet. It's still all up in the air.
If they really want to stir things up they will go with Chad.

The lead will never keep ___________ because they will be too hurt, they are a single parent, etc. They will do what tptb tell them to do and screw those poor schmucks who get caught up in the game. They should have read their contracts.

I agree up to a point. I think Chase would be serious about it like Ben, however, the difference for me is that Ben seemed more aware of the machinations going on as part of the show. He was never in the bubble and never was going to be. (He should thank his lucky star that he was Shawn's roommate and saw what was going down.) Chase already seems to have fallen down the rabbit hole and just seems more naïve about the whole process.

I don't think that was the reason why. I doubt he had any real interest in Kaitlyn and instead was pretending to be "falling" for her, likely at TPTB's suggestion because they wanted him to make it far and be a potential candidate as the next lead. I just don't think there's any way in hell he would end up with or be interested in a girl like Kaitlyn. If the Bachelorette were Britt, it might have been a different story. He would've actually gotten to know a girl with a strong faith and who shares his passion for helping children in foreign countries (sponsor children), as opposed to a nympho who loves to drink practically all the time.

Based on Ben's choice - Lauren - I didn't really think he was that into Kaitlyn but probably though if he goes far enough he'll have his chance.

Same thing with Jojo...Her choice of men makes me think he wasn't really into Ben and she was hoping for this Ette gig.

Happens every season...
