The show is a business for the producers, they are good business men (I mean, renewed for season 21!). If he isn't F1 and they can get him, Jordan Rogers makes the most business sense. We haven't seen him in action, and people are already excited about the prospect of his being on the show!

I have to say that from the press release, Luke got an awesome date. A dog sled to a snow covered forest, a hottub in beautiful scenery and then dinner and a concert by an actual good country band? That's most definitely a good date to prop someone IMO.

For all we know Fleiss could be messing with us making us thinking he went home.

Based on CH's plug in the "top 5 to watch", I will be shocked if he isn't the next Bachelor. We should watch his edit too as it will most likely be squeaky clean!

I think he's on to promote his band.  They're the only way he makes money.  He was an Army man and you have to work as a team, not as competitors.  Now he's in a band, a group of like-minded folks pursuing a harmonious sound.  Not a bunch of folks trying to outlast others and win a solo prize.

To me, being on this kind of show seems the antithesis of his entire life up til now and continuing into his future.  I don't think it's a bad thing necessarily, but I absolutely don't think Luke is on this show to find a woman to love.  I think it's business and I think he wants the exposure to further his career.  It's definitely worked for others, why not him?

And for what it's worth, I think he's a decent guy. Just not on for JoJo.

You might be able to say this about most of the guys that go on this show, especially in this age group.

^^^ Some of them, definitely. But the real estate guys, the fireman, the erectile disfunction specialist, etc aren't going to make money from the exposure the way a musician can, with his paid downloads, monetized website traffic, YouTube channel and booking gigs. We have a HVAC sales rep, a construction superintendent, and an engineer, among others that will be forgotten within hours.

The models, DJ's and other entertainment folks I see in the same light as Luke. They're taking their shot.

RS mentioned in his bio breakdown today that "of course" Luke was in the running for the bachelor if JoJo didn't pick him. none of the other f4 had something like that mentioned.

Luke has got 3 other band members that would have to find something else to do for quite a while if he wanted & got the Bachelor gig. Sounds pretty self-serving for somebody that should care about his bandmates. Though usually in Chris Harrison's 5 is the winner, the next lead and at least 2 that flame out early, so there really is no telling at this point.

Or Luke's band could appreciate the increased number of fans and people listening to their music because of his time on the show and the publicity it gained. Steve Gorman former drummer from the Black Crowes is now a sports anchor on Fox Sports Radio, amazingly when he talks about his time with the band they all had some individual interests and did not spend 24/7 on just the band. 

I think Luke's band almost no one had heard of might not mind getting some advertising and a possible build in fan base. JMO.

I posted in James Taylor's thread, that it's interesting that the only one from the show James is following on twitter is Luke.
