Yeah, I don't have a great vibe about that move. I guess we'll see. It's not easy to independently live in NYC, even with a job. Studio apartments run about 2500/month. 
I hope she has some plans. Maybe this is her "gap" year.

Even if mom and dad are paying for her to live in NY, at least she's 23. If she was almost 30 and was living off mom and dad then that's a different story for me ( cough, cough Andi).

Yea that's what I was thinking, New York is extremely expensive. Nothing wrong with having some help. I don't think she has a job there yet, because a few days ago she was planning on being the Bachelorette. Just wondering what her plans there are. Trying to get into tv hosting? Or maybe doing modeling/promoting ?

As long as Caila pursues an actual career in NYC and does not become a vapid reality tv has been like Andi....I see no problem with the move or her parents helping her out with her rent. Based on the Caila I have seen on my TV and SM....I have much higher hopes for her than I never ever did about Andi.  I guess time will tell.

I will remain open minded on trying NYC. If she gets a job and doesn't just try to make herself the IG equivalent of Sex and the City then good for her. Many of this generation have mommy and daddy help support them, but I kind of hope we hear she has multiple roommates and is living in a shoebox apartment like most young NYCers.

IMO is she is in fact moving to NYC then it must be for something secure. I don't see her the type to wander the streets and waiting for the phone to ring. JMHO

That's a good start on a job. But I'm not sure if that would support living in NYC...fitness instructors don't get paid that much IMO

She's not an instructor though, she's a marketing manager. And it says "Greater New York City Area" on her LinkedIn.

Caila's job with BollyX is not fitness instructor.  It is a corporate job titled Marketing Manager.  Big difference.  IMO.

I am with the group, give her a chance to see how she does in NY.  It has been less than a week since she found out she wasn't going to be the Bette.  I am hoping she gets to know Sharleen because I think she will have a good influence on Caila.  Wonder if she is getting paid for the current modeling shots or this is publicity photos.

The bollyx link says there is a demo tour going on this week in New York, that should be interesting. She is the Marketing Manager, not an instructor and I see that as a win-win for both the company and Caila!
