It looks like we aren't the only ones upset with the 2nd Nikki slip ups. Article from mammamia. This is under the heading of the article.

IMO I think its always nice to have a bit of a surprise at the end even if the other bachelorettes are saying and we guess during the season, its a whole different kettle of fish if the F1 keeps mentioning it in interviews.

I have mixed emotions on this. I don't mind a spoiler especially in the US version. I find the AU series a bit different and its ruin when the contestant(s) does the spoiling. 

On another note, either Nikki is extremely bad with her grammar or she's playing a game like they say being a red herring

I see this differently. I think that it is Nikki that says 'I love you' at the end and therefore by the end of the filming she knew she was in love with him. Therefore I think she is merely reflecting back and talking about at that point in time.

I'm all for a surprise and Nikki not be the one that says 'I love you' at the end but it kinda fits with the 'I want all of you, forever' comment that was stated in the extended promo.

IA - also it must very hard, especially if you are not comfortable and confident dealing with the media, to keep your present and past tenses correct. Does she put everything in the past tense and it is assumed that she doesn't win or does she mix it up a bit with a bit of both and everyone assumes she's let the cat out of the bag?

To me she seems like a sweet girl and I believe she didn't do it to manipulate things.

I remember with Sam Wood and Heather, the media picked up on little things that they both said plus facial expressions and were convinced that Heather was F1. So, who knows, it's all part of the game, IMO.

I'm quite positive the "I love you" at the end is Alex. When you listen to it and compare it to her single date when he tells her he feels ignited she whispers "I love that" and it sounds exactly the same as the whispered "I love you" in the end of the promo... However in saying that I don't think she wins (due to the media bashing she's copping) so this is probably her telling him she loves him prior to the final episode.

I find it odd that Rachel liked a picture of Nikki and Richie together on Instagram?! On @samfrostfanpage

If you look at who she follows she seems a bit of a Bach fan. It is a little weird though

The funny thing is, just yesterday I checked the visitor posts on the official FB page of the show. And there was a comment from a woman she was complaining that Nikki and the other contestants can`t keep it together and spoiled too much. She wrote that all the suspense is gone and it`s no fun anymore to watch the show. Today I checked the visitor posts again and guess what.....it`s gone. They deleted her comment.

This has just come out from Snez supporting Alex. I wonder if they have thrown Nikki in as the red herring and something happens in the next few episodes that will change peoples opinions of Alex? I also think its Alex saying I love you in the promo [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] but my logic was getting in the way.

Their SM and handling of the bachelorettes has left a lot to be desired this season IMO.
