I totally agree with this too Sophie. It will be interesting to see the edit the first few eps. If Jojo and Jordan and their chemistry are quite front and centre in ep 2,3,4 it will be a huge red flag against him as F1, IMO.

We had the girls on Ben's season reference that Lauren was the front runner on more than one occasion in more than one episode. Nothing can be more obvious than that

I just think they'll do what they do every season. They will come up with something to deter the audience to what's right in front of them. IMO.

yes but that was mostly in the 2nd half of the season. She was almost invisible (or at least hard to distinguish from other blondes showed) during the previews. She didnt get the FIR and we never saw their first kiss which happened in Ep2.

ITA, they definitely didn't push BenLo to the front in the beginning, IMO, it was about other drama at first. IMO Jordan is just too obvious right now.

Lauren got her first 1-on-1 in episode 3 and from that point there was no hiding it IMO. Kaitlyn said on the first night that kissing Shawn was like having your first kiss in elementary school and I'm pretty positive she referenced something about her seeing Shawn come out of the limo was the closest thing she had to love at first sight. He got the FIR and the first kiss.

That's been production's go to lately. Allow it to be obvious, but throw a wrench in there somehow. I don't see this season being any different if she ends up with Jordan. IMO.

IMO other than sleuthers that follow this show, the prior obvious edits were not that obvious to the general viewership of this show.

In this case Jordan is very obvious to the general viewership via promos & media blitz....so very different from Shawn, Josh, Lauren etc IMO. Does not mean Jordan is not F1 but this is a different approach that TPTB is taking & Jordan so far is not hidden from the general viewership...jmo

In comparison Lauren was obvious because of spoiler and Ben. The show did what they could to not make it obvious by the I love you debacle, Leah's fib, Olivia's sideshow, blindside etc, ridiculous preview of switch and half Mesnick ETC. (sigh!!!!)

Lauren barely got a mention in promo stuff, CH was 'ahh yes, Lauren's there too, oh well', they didn't show their first kiss etc. IMO it was so obvious because of Ben, not because the show promoted her to the front. Jmo.

These are still shots and promo clips, which some of these may not even end up airing.  The general viewing audience doesn't sit around and dissect every little detail like we do.  If I were watching the most recent promo, I wouldn't have had a clue who JoJo was kissing.  The editing was really quick.  Blink and you missed it.   RS says it's the Jordan and JoJo show.  I guess we will see if that truly pans out, but I suspect when it airs, TPTB will try to hide their connection...as best as they can...just as they did with Lauren by beating us over the head with Ben and JoJo's connection.

The show/production purposely left in the girls acknowledging that Lauren was the front runner several times. They left in the time in Mexico City where Lauren and Ben disappeared and we were shown them being all over each other on the street while the rest of the girls questioned where they were, etc. There were obvious reasons to doubt Ben and Lauren with JoJo being the biggest one and I just see them doing that this season too. Same script different season. It just so happens that JoJo's supposed front runner is semi famous. In CH's five to watch, he already planted the seed of doubt.

Lauren's not a semi famous person like Jordan is. This television show is a business and they need to promote it. There's already a bunch of hype because of Jordan and his status. If someone was like that on any other season they would do the same thing. It's good business. IMO.

I'm about to tweet RS and tell him not to be blindsided.

If Jordan is F1 so be it. My issue is that to me it is apparent that JoJo and family knowing that he was going to be on the show and the familiarity of his name. Again, who follows a contestant before meeting or conclusion of show. I'm puzzled by her family's response. Either JoJo is able to communicate her feelings during the show with her family or something is up....way up
