I think we have to go all the way back to Chris and Des for a non-obvious ending. It's the new norm.

There is an "obvious edit" which some folks had e.g. Shawn, Josh & there is obvious edit (based on episode 1 recap we have heard) plus a media blitz campaign (information leaked to the media early on that Jojo was into Jordan). That's the difference with this season IMO so it's more than just an obvious edit that the others had. Either Jordan was scripted as F1 from the get go or the producers have something else in mind....we shall see....all jmo.

Nikki was not obvious until Sharleen left. If Sharleen had stayed it would have been a toss up IMO. Whitney was scripted, but not the one Chris was most passionate about. The last true not obvious was Chris and Des. They left her being in love with Chris too in, but the Brooks gushing and fireworks were pretty convincing. 

I have no problem with Jaordan being F1 if there is a real connection. I just don't want another Chris Soules and Whitney season. JMO.

I didn't really see Nikki or Whitney as that obvious either. JPG was in awe of Sharleen from the beginning and had he picked Clare over Nikki, I wouldn't have seen it as a shocking ending since he was very physically into her. And who knows how CS's season would've ended up if Britt hadn't unraveled or if Jade had never posed for Playboy or if Becca had actually been into him. Whitney was just the one who made the most sense of paper, not the one he actually liked the most. Shawn, Josh and Courtney were obvious F1's to me. The leads on those season pretty much picked them right out of the limo. If Jordan is the F1, then I'll put him in that group with those three.

Agreed. And how he was leaked via US Weekly even before we knew who the Bachelorette was for certain. I mean, what was that about? Just because he's Aaron Rodger's brother? Like Aaron Rodgers is practically God in Wisconsin, but nationally and to The Bachelorette general audience? Is there really THAT big of a crossover? Literally the second we knew he was on, I immediately thought JoJo would glom onto him. At the time we thought Caila would be the ette, and I didn't think he'd be her type, though I assumed producers would make her drag him along to the F4, minimum. You know it's bad and truly obvious when you can sniff out the ending before you even know the lead and before these people even meet.

This show is a business for ABC. Jordan might not technically be "famous" himself, but his brother is. I've seen it on social media. There's already a decent amount of hype about him being on the show and it hasn't even started yet and that's exactly what ABC wants - viewers and attention. They can show him off all they want and they can show JoJo into him, but there will absolutely be something that makes viewers second guess him with JoJo.

All I want is a funny/fun season to watch and if Jordan ends up being the F1, then I hope they have a genuine connection. It seems like the attraction goes both ways judging by the previews and information we've gotten thus far. I personally don't care if JoJo knew he would be a contestant before she met him. Most of the recent leads zeroed in on their F1's on night one. This is no different. IMO

Yeah I don't know what to think. I'm a little meh about him because I don't want someone to win just because they are related to someone. That's ridiculous. However, Jordan has a famous brother so does that mean he shouldn't get to fall in love? Well the answer to that should be no. IF Jojo and Jordan (jo^3) are the two that end up engaged in the end and it turns out it's all just a show they better give me an oscar winning performance because I want to believe it. If it feels fake I'm going to check out, as a viewer. I don't care if they fall in love when they first hug as long as I believe that it's real. I don't want another Chris S. season or a Ben F. season when I couldn't even pretend at the end. I at least want to feel like the leads would date each other After the Final Rose is over. Is that too much to ask?

Right now....IMHO...the connection I have seen with Jojo & Jordan so far is physical & they will need more than that to make it after the bubble bursts in the real world....jmo.

On another note do folks that have sleuthed Jordan extensively see him getting married in the next 1- 2 years? I ask because I had read a post that Jojo was looking to get married soon but SCMIIW.

I guess im in the minority because i kind of like it when it's soooo obvious who the f1 is just because the lead cant fake it with the other guys.

Based on the second promo, IMO TPTB emphasized their physical connection....I really don't care if Jordan is F1...I just don't like when TPTB focusses only on the physical connection but we shall see how the rest of the season shakes out....jmo

The closeness on the couch.  He is the only one that kissed her on night one. He received the FIR.  The monkey jump into his arms.  His hand on her stomach while on the boat.  The makeout sesh under the bleachers.  And these are only clips/photos.  Oh yeah, he's definitely F1.

I don't understand what there would need to be an Oscar winning performance about? He's ridiculously hot and good natured from what we've seen, how hard is it to fall for him in that manufactured environment considering his looks and charm? Especially because he came there to win HER, she's the prize. No acting needed here whatsoever imo.

Oh I agree. If they fall in "like enough to date" I am a okay! No acting required. If he just wants a job as a broadcaster and she just wants to put on a good show for the producers ala her crazy home town date; I'm going to need more than that. I didn't buy that letter/roses/brothers nonsense at all. If it's real, than YAY! If it's not they better try real hard to make me buy it. I just want to watch two people have a connection not two actors get the careers or exposure they want/need. IMO
