The Bachelor 20 - Ben Higgins - Episode 8 - HTD - Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

This added ex just makes JoJo's whole sl seem really fake, added to the Ben blasting brother, it's just too much IMO. One drama/girl/HTD should be enough. This is just the producers pushing JoJo to the front with all their might. Jmo.

It's a very bad attempt . Reenactment , fake acting/crying. I have visions of Jillian/Jake season dancing around in my head where Jake emerged as the Bach. They must be dangling the carrot in front of Jojo for her to go along to this extent. Even reading the letter. Ita, she should have known from the beginning it wasn't Ben just from the handwriting ! Part of the letter said, be who you are on the show and, there's just something about you and me. ....he went through self awareness  etc.

When she threw herself in a corner to fake cry, that reminded me of Ali when she threw herself on the floor and had a hissy fit during Jake's season and then ended up as Bette too.

Usually in every season, the next lead has their "audition" moment. Ben's was his "unlovable" moment + confronting Kaitlyn about what happened with Shawn while he was in the shower. I agree, this HTD reeks of a JoJo audition. Des had a similarity disasterous hometown date and audition on Sean's season leading up to her season.

I just think this audition is soooooo fake. Almost like a deliberate attempt to discredit Jojo imo. Was anything ever noticeably done this badly?

Not sure where this goes but it all seems to fit. I think they had planned on Becca getting a HTD over Calia is my guess (as Amanda already had a rose). Ben at the last second changed his mind and couldn't continue trying to lead on Becca so he sent her home, hence CH "this changes everything" comment we never saw. Becca was going to be like Nick a F2 a second time and JoJo was the planned F3 Bette and the HTD gimmicks/audition were already set (location may have changed).

After sending Becca home Amanda became f4 (probably always was), Calia F3 and Jojo Became F2 and maybe still potential Bette but will depend (assuming the editing and foiler is correct) on how she handles the finale. But these gimmick would have been planned out at the time they were doing the Warsaw Rose Ceremony.

ALL IMHO

ITA with that. I think JoJo was their pick for the Bachelorette hence the silly ex drama, but then Ben couldn't fake it with Becca/didn't want to drag her to the end, so Caila got the HTD instead. Too bad he couldn't fake it with her either, so JoJo ended up F2. Though I'm still not totally sure if she did.

^ yes, I thought of that as well. What if Jojo is let go as F3? I don't really see Caila being F2 but we never know.

GA has posted that Calia got her travel arrangements either the day before or the day of the FRC. So we know Calia is F3 and really at this point its only between Lauren and JoJo IMHO for F1.
