Kaitlyn Bristowe - Shawn Booth - Bachelorette 11 - #3 - Discussion

Yeah I've stayed out of this discussion because I don't know whether or not she has a problem. Kaitlyn talks about drinking a lot but I don't know how much she actually does. She likes to be the centre of attention, so she talks about drinking all the time to get attention, because she thinks it makes her look cooler IMO. It's a childish train of thought but this is Kaitlyn we're talking about. I watched the JK interview and she seemed really obnoxious but she didn't seem wasted IMO. It didn't even occur to me until I saw her tweet, and I couldn't tell if she was serious or not. If she does have a problem I hope the people in her life would try to intervene and she can get the help she'd need.

I wanted Britt to be the Bacherlorette too..I am honestly good at judging people in this show. NEVER liked Josh, NEVER liked Kaitlyn when they were both fan faves. Years later, people now see why.

^^ I agree. She talks about it but we don't really know her personal life.
I know she gets so hyper when she is nervous, she said it multiple times.
I can't imagine her mom, sister and shawn just sit there and be ok with her having SERIOUS problem. Also she has amazing friends who all adore her so i can't also imagine them sitting there and be yea its ok.

IMO, it won't matter if they all offer help and tell her she needs to reign it in, if she truly does indeed have a problem, unless she acutally realizes herself that she has a problem.  She has to admit it and want to do something about it, such as ask for help, rehab, etc.  If she doesn't, nothing they try to do will help, sink in or get threw, IMO.  JMOAA

It is so sad to me that she is so desperate to be cool but then with the same breath acts like she doesn't care about people's opinions of her.

I just don't get her.

Kaitlyn was so embarrassing on Kimmel. She looked awful. Who styled her?!

@bleuberry Lo vonrumpf. He is usually such a good stylist. He styles Lucy Hale and used to style Jana Kramer. Dropped the ball with kaitlyn last night though IMO

She was definitely drunk on Kimmel IMO. I thought that the moment she started talking. I've seen drunk Kaitlyn on Periscope and the like after her season and that is how she acts, totally oblivious to anyone else around her and their feelings. Her eyes weren't focused either. I'm sure she does exaggerate her drinking as well since she seems to think it's cool, but people who think drinking is cool also tend to do it a lot. Maybe Shawn's just gotten used to it or feels like he can't judge her because he used to party with her. I dunno, but I definitely think she has a problem. JMO.

Honestly i don't know. Im kinda confused when she is serious, joking or exaggerating.
I mean i saw wells drinking almost everyday on snap chat but does it make him alcoholic as well? We really don't know their life.
IMO she really needs to just get off the internet and social media, she reads comments and of course its hurtful people commenting about her face and how awful/ugly she looks

I guess there is only so much a stylist can do when the canvass provided is in rough shape.

IMO if she wasn't such a rude jerk on SM perhaps her drinking would be more tolerable. Plus the fact that she flaunts her wine every chance she gets is even more annoying since she thinks she's popular for drinking.

I've said this before, if she in fact drinks too much, I would think there will come a time where Shawn says clean up your act or I'm outta of here. How long will he clean up the empty bottles under the sink, especially when he's all about healthy clean living.

Absolute? Jack Daniels? KetlOne? Glen Ellen?
Many times the family is in as deep of denial as the addicted. That's why they have programs like Al-anon, Narc-Anon etc.
