Kaitlyn Bristowe - Shawn Booth - Bachelorette 11 - #3 - Discussion

Even if Kaitlyn and Shawn were different from 'golden' Bach couples and not as palatable to the general audience - its hardly like the show has shunned them as a result of this. They had the gall, the nerve, to not give them their own TV show. They also didn't invite them to JoJo's ATFR (even though no one has any idea why it would be necessary for her to be there). And then they weren't invited to iHeart (this after months of both of them complaining about their bad treatment blah blah.) Otherwise they've done loads of appearances, been on affiliated game shows, taken trips, etc. They're just ungrateful and entitled and incapable of being happy with the what they've been given (which is a lot more than most people tbh!)

With JoJo and Jordan, that's 8 franchise/core couples together out of 32 seasons. The Bachelor/ette currently has a 25% 1:4 success rate if you can believe it. That's not bad. It's also not taking into account the MANY spin off successful couples this show has.

Kaitlyn and Shawn are, literally, a dime a dozen. They aren't even one of the marrieds (who were also not invited, btw.)

And at the same time when she complained about not being invited to JoJo's AFTR, she also brought up the anxieties watching the show from her own home brought up. She cannot spout all of this, and then shade her 'friends' who are the other couples from the show. Pick one thing, Kaitlyn, and stick with it. Either she gets anxieties thinking about the show and feels that TPBP have treated her badly. Or shades all the other ppl from the show, and stops acting like they're her friends. Or she wants to be included in the Bach events, in which case she has to drop the first two, and get with the program. Imagine how awkward it'll be for BenLo's if they ever bump into each other. Kaitlyn saying they're unhappy in her snap chat, and then being chummy when they meet up.

Absolutely but Kaitlyn seems to believe she is so much more special and different that she and Shawn deserve their own TV show over any of the other couples. I don't know why because she's a just a drunk with little to nothing going for her. JMO.

There's nothing special about these two. The minute they fall down from their high pedestal is when they might get invited to whatever else this franchise has to offer.

They've been invited to so much. Considering how sh!tty that season was they are being unappreciative.

Hate to defend JJ here, but as far as I know he didn't lose his job, he quit it.

I also don't get what Kaitlyn has to whine about. They might not be TPTB's favourite, which is hardly surprising considering she spoiled her own season, but they really haven't been that slighted. They've been invited to loads and loads of stuff. After Paradise last year, Janner wedding, JoJo's first episode to give "advice", not to mention Family Feud, Millionaire, CMA Awards, NY Fashion Week etc. I guess the invites are getting fewer, but that's hardly surprising considering she's old news by Bachelor standards. There are two brand new happy couples to trot out plus the three from BIP, so who needs Kaitlyn? None of the BIP couples were invited either and they were just on TV. Her complaining is utterly pathetic. The only one whose staying power I don't get is Chris Soules, but he was the perfect puppet, even willing to get fake engaged for a shot at DWTS. Quite the opposite of Kaitlyn.

Chris Soules knows how to stay in the game. He's friends with BenLo, too, they meet up all the time, and has never trashed TPBP. He knows it brings him perks.

Kaitlyn spoiled her own season, and it's been a whinefest ever since. I'm 100% sure, that if they were invited to all these events, she'd still whine about something, still shade the other couples, and complain. It's just her personality. Jmo.

Yikes. I mean JJ is still on my sh*tlist after being an censored to a fan with special needs... but this response doesn't surprise me from Kaitlyn. But LOL @ JJ's response about her being salty over BenLo. She should stop. It's not very healthy to be bitter (and drunk) all the time.

can somebody please give me a short summary of what Kaitlyn has said about BenLo? I thought they were all on a good note
