Kaitlyn Bristowe - Shawn Booth - Bachelorette 11 - #3 - Discussion

I'd like to say it's a step above the previous 'Ettes Peach t-shirt, but just barely. IMO
I saw nothing innovative and it was not, imo, reasonable considering it's costume jewelry. I received a pr of 14K gold earrings from Blue Nile recently in the same price range as a pr of this site's gold plated.

I think it's product endorsement at a slightly more pronounced level - it's what the kardashian sisters do. pick out some items and give it the Kaitlyn brand and call the items her "line" while she promotes on their site via pics, social media posts etc. I can't get over the fact that this is an actual line of work and that people make a living off of this

I think that they are not, as a couple, a favorite of the producers and they know it. And I think it hurts. I don't doubt they were promised many things during filming that never materialized. I don't blame her for being upset; it wouldn't be the first time producers have failed to keep promises to their cast. The main difference is that Kaitlyn wears her heart on the sleeve and tends to react in the moment, before thinking it all through and realizing that for everything she thinks she was promised but will never have, she is still ahead. It doesn't make her a bad person. We all know the producers really play these people.

Sure, she does a lot of things that make me shake my head, but ultimately I see her failing as mostly being weaker at playing the game than others on the show have been. They are all self-absorbed to a large extent; some just hide it better.

Gold plated over sterling. That isn't costume jewelry of some unknown metal composition. The price range looks consistent to other name brands with quality sterling base.

Given that I have metal allergies, I pay attention to these things.

They haven't really ever been put on the back burner though imo. They have gotten and continue to get a lot from this show, when honestly, they shouldn't get squat for the amount of sh*t talking they do and of course the spoiling. Des and Chris are the ones who always get slighted..and they're the nicest couple who ever came from the show! IMO.

I consider plating to be lower value. That's my opinion.
Like I said I have gotten 14K on Blue Nile for comparable to her prices. I don't consider 14K costume. That's me.
Many have metal allergies, often due to the nickel content. That's why plating is a no-no for me.

I don't follow these two, but I saw an article on PEOPLE magazine where Shawn say they stay away from watching the franchise. So why were they whining about being invited then?
