It is about how she feels about benlo having a new reality show and we all know how much she wants to be on their position for a long time now . Her non stop snapchatting show you can see how much she gives in her whole day and time every day just to make their fans happy and show their post life that's not a secret they love and enjoy it all along . Well they always said they don't want to do their own show because of the editing but wouldn't surprise me if they did try and shop around. I'd rather they just stick to Snapchat

I can understand her frustration.... I personally loved her modern approach to dating and their love story... but others (like my parents) couldn't get over it... I suspect that's why they aren't jumping up and down to give them a TV wedding or their own show.... As much as I'd find them super entertaining (probably more so then BenLo who I find cute and endearing but not necessarily funny).... I suspect they are going to be like Des & Chris.... we will never know why but a tv deal with the franchise isn't looking likely... I'm hoping that as soon as their contract expires, someone else will snap up their wedding (isn't it like 5 years obligation or something....long time to wait!)

EDITED TO ADD: just looked on this website at contracts, looks like it's 2 years obligation, Married at First Sight is 5 years.

Someone CMIIW, but I thought their contracts expire a year and one day after their finale.

I thought it was only a two year obligation but I might be mixing that up with when they'd have to give back the ring if they break up. My opinion, for what it's worth, is she has every right to be jealous, if she is. Ben was on her season, she was the lead, she might always feel that way. I do get the feeling she would love to have something like this for Shawn and herself and you're right we may never know why ABC/Disney wasn't interested. She didn't really say anything too negative and I might be hurt too if this were to happen to me.

I always thought it was 2 yr contract to keep their mouths shut and pretty much toe company line. That may have changed recently IDK. But in past it was 2 yrs. according to several past cast people.

I don't like that it became a 'competition'. Kaitlyn and Shawn weren't offered for whatever reason, and I doubt Ben and Lauren stepped on any toes or crossed them over to get the show. Imo it was never going to be one or the other, for whatever reason, and if BenLo had turned this down, it wouldn't have been offered to Kaitlyn/Shawn. Jmo.

I think the reason this isn't happening to them is because they were presented with a platform (the televised wedding special) and turned it down. Once you close the door, I don't see MF reopening it. If he did, then that would give couples the power to call the shots and he isn't going to allow that. His show, his rules. You either play by them and accept what you are given or he moves on to the next person IMO. The couples of the franchise are not irreplaceable and he has to maintain that stance to keep control of his show. All JMO though.

So, like I totally agree with you. The reality TV show couple thing, that has Kaitlyn and Shawn written all over it, not necessarily BenLo, so I get why she would be jealous. And if she is jealous (looking like it), that's her right and her feelings. But it's the taking it to social media and subtweeting about it that I find whiney and annoying. She knows Ben, she "dated" him, he was Shawn's bestie on the show. BenLo have reached out to them. I just find it tacky to be publicly bitter or whatever. Keep that chit to yourself. Another approach is to be happy for BenLo, at least publicly, and hope for good enough ratings that Boothstowe get picked up for "season 2."

exactly . Kaitlyn should not be jealous to benlo having their own reality show leading to their wedding and throwing shade to them. They offered them but they are not ready so moving on . Knowing MF

Sleepy you are completely right. If this goes really well somehow it could be a jumping off point for her but more likely for Jojo. Unfortunately for Kaitlyn (who actually has a really large fan base) this didn't happen and I agree with fingersandtoes that it is unlikely that Ben and Lauren took anything from Kaitlyn and Shawn it was probably never offered to them in this format. I just understand her possibly jealousy and hurt and I guess I get that she's human and honestly rarely censors herself so she subtweeted. It's not shocking and I guess I'm a little sympathetic towards her hurt. Again, not that I think Ben or Lauren are responsible for this hurt.
