I'm hoping this is a joke.

Hahaha nope that isn't a joke .. Remember? She mentioned before on their past interviews she is doing a voice lesson because she would like to pursue a singing career? Well it's happening folks

I guess the derision confuses me. When she is not working and just SM posting she is criticized. Now maybe she is pursuing a passion and still criticized. I may not like whatever she writes and or records, but if she is at least trying to do something and has found a passion to pursue then I say good for her and good luck. JMO.

I thought the singing lessons were more of a hobby kind of thing. I didn't think she'd actually pursue a music career. I'm hoping she doesn't because no offense to her but I don't think any musical success is headed her way.

I am sure it will be in the number 1 on the radio

She's good friends with Jana Kramer, who's a semi successful country singer, so that might be where she's got the idea to try singing herself.

No one needs to buy her song. At least she is trying. She isn't insulting anyone or hurting anyone, just trying to do something she might like or love. I am not always a Kaitlyn fan, but this all seems a little she can't win to me. JMO.

Iirc it was either singing or dancing that she had said was her interest during TB audition clip. So if it was singing and she now has a platforn to do so then  for her.

Like other leads literary projects which I have not read, I don't have to either listen to or buy hers I'd I choose not to.

But imo this is not something out of the blue for her.

If it's too harsh then there's the fan threads. Other posters opinions aren't up for criticism. We've all had opinions on these folks that sound harsh to their fans.

Personally I think she's a moron if she thinks this is going anywhere but perhaps she's being realistic about it and doesn't expect much from it.

That is for sure everything is all about. She is always said she wants to build her own brand upon joining this show . I do think in dancing she has a lot of potential than on singing . Since everyone mentioned here before she was a dance instructor before working as waiter at cactus bar in Vancouver . I don't hear her sing yet so I don't know but again that is the purpose of this singing voice lessons she is doing all along in Nashville. I don't think is bad to pursue a passion . Go for it. She lives in Nashville where a lot of musicians live there and started their career before getting big in public . KB is famous now so trying luck to singing might not be bad . She will might have luck , her fans will do that for her . Jmo.
