Such a great post! A few weeks ago, I reflected in a post on the idea that Ben and JoJo probably were caught unawares by FSDs about their feelings. Though I do suspect that Jo started this "journey" and was willing to play along, by HTDs, the reality that she could lose him highlighted for her that she did have feelings for him; equally, when he was confronted with the ex-boyfriend crap, he realized that he could lose her. These two unexpectedly had real feelings develop. Even if they didn't outpace his and Lauren's, there were still feelings of real and honest care between them.

NCGalBecca posted a great article last week from Vox about the show. In it, the writer commented that the final episode is the most real. Even if it'll be hard to watch, I am looking forward to seeing the most honest episode of the season.

Thank you for sharing this.. I loved what she had to say about Jojo. She finds her special, kind, sweet and fun. She even used the word perfect. This is someone that actually interacted with her and got to observe her under the craziest of settings..to me that says a lot. I really hope they find a way to make her the bachelorette

I couldn't agree more with this. I think if I were in the F2 position, I would be devastated to feel like I was played and wasted my time. Not only did JoJo get that validation that he loved her while filming, she got to watch it all back and see IMO, that Ben genuinely seemed to deeply feel like he fell in love with her. I feel like it would help me move on. It seems like she's had some bad relationships in the past that have left scars for her, but maybe this one will just leave happy memories for her since ultimately he had to let her go because it's the name of the game and she signed up for it, but that doesn't mean his feelings weren't genuine.

I agree joJo would be a better bachelorette then Calia. But if RS is right about the filming time then I don't see them choosing JoJo. The F2 hasen't been the next lead in a very long time. Even if they wanted her I have a feeling she went back home and probably fell right into her EX's arms. jmo

I hope so too.  JoJo would be a much more interesting Bachelorette IMO.

I don't think she's the bachelorette because she's already moved on JMO

Becca mentioned on the WTA that she and Jojo were talking about how heartwarming it was to see that there were still good guys out there, in referring to Ben. She'll meet that special good guy, hopefully on the bachelorette. Chad who?!

Yet she put the roses he gave her at the HTD in a vase and read his letter and then phoned him. Then turned the topic of conversation with the guy she was having an important date with to her relationship with the ex. 
Every one reacts differently. I would have put the roses in the trash. Well, actually I probably would have given them to a friend as I hate to ruin good flowers. I would have burned his letter. I would have taken my phone and first blocked him and then deleted his number from my contacts. 
After that I would have freshened my hair and makeup and been so glad I was going to see this special guy on his way over to see  me.

Maybe she would do that in real life, but she was on a reality television show that thrives on drama when that happened to her. I'm not so sure they would have allowed her to do any of the above IMO.

One of her best friends has been favoriting tweets about people wanting her to be the bachelorette the past couple of weeks. If JoJo was back with the ex or dating someone seriously I don't think the friend would be favoriting those tweets, but that's just my opinion.

The ex flowers and letter IMO was a set up and TPTB produced. The only part that was believable was Ben's relief that JoJo wasn't leaving to go back to the ex. She was clear that the relationship with her ex was over. JoJo deserves so much better than Cheater Chad.
