I agree.

Even with the Ash/JP edit, they didn't make it so obvious.

I find it interesting that after such a "disastrous" Htd, Jojo still made it to F2.. To me that says a lot about how he feels about her. The edit is doing everything for us to embrace the Lauren /Ben pairing and everything to write off Ben and Jojo as a couple.

well they couldn't since she was still so hung up on bentley. it wasn't until like 6 or 7 episodes in that we finally saw her and jp really be the couple that they are today.

Regarding still giving the rose to Jojo, in that context, what was he supposed to do? Keep Amanda? Let 2 go and only take F2 to FD and LCD? It's not hard to see he has feelings for Jojo. But in the end decision , her family will be taken into account imo, and that will set her back further behind Lauren. Making Jojo the F2. Just because he's comfortable with Jojo doesn't mean they are compatible in life goals etc. The way she'll tell him she loves him does not reflect a woman truly in love . Mo. Her brother's said they had a read on Ben that Jojo was more into Ben than Ben was into Jojo. In the end, her brother might be right but like Jojo said, she has to take the chance to see if things can work with Ben. Ultimately though, it's Ben's choice.

I do think they are showing the love story this time with Ben & Lauren. IMO Ben wears his heart on his sleeve and they might have had a hard time editing his time with Lauren, its obvious that Ben can't keep his hands and lips off of her. :Nod:

FWIW - the JP and Ashley's sister thing happened at the MTP, not HTD. That is 2 dates later. IIRC, Ashley said in interviews post show that she was 95% certain of F1 by HTD. So by the time they got to MTP, she already knew it was JP and was too invested for a tiff with her sister to really matter.

I think it's different for this kind of thing to happen at HTD. I do think he had chosen Lauren at this point, but for the sake of argument we'll say he wasn't. Anyway, there are still a few dates for him to think/worry about his doubts from that HTD vs with Ashley where she was already all in by that time and about to be proposed to.

I think they have a very easy "connection. She appears to be woman that guys seem to easily like based on what I have read elsewhere from male posters. I hope she hasn't returned to the ex given that she said she often begged him, etc.

I did find it interesting when Ben said in his blog today that he was "terrified" that JoJo was going to dump him for the ex at her HTD. Again, if he has been so taken by only Lauren for weeks, why not use a different term instead of "terrified" which suggests more than casual feelings are involved? He did have Amanda as a backup F3.

Ok. So both Jojo and her mom had work done I think .
