He was probably casually dating someone, but he wasn't in a committed relationship if he himself was campaigning for bachelor.

I don't know if he was casually dating someone or not but he definitely wasn't in a committed relationship after Andi's season though if he was I'd like to see the proof of that. He put himself out there as an option and had Sean, Emily and a bunch of others supporting him.

I was all for a season of Arie.  And after suffering through a season of the idiot farmer, really, really wish we'd gotten a season of Arie.

She's a nice enough person and wish her the best in life and love. Hope she finds her happily ever after.  That said, I do not want to watch it... Not even the slightest bit interested in a season of her.

I'm not sure where to put this, but I went back to the initial season preview and saw that Ben was indecisive about the before the HTD rose ceremony - he's in the same suit. He asked for a moment while standing before the girls (3 roses on tray), then in preview we see him talking to Chris. I no longer believe in order of things as they are shown us. I question anything not said in the same scene in person and when any ITM is shot and where. It is in the realm of possibility that during the filming of Episode 7 that he still hesitates even after talking to Chris as shown, or it could be he goes on the steps then and Chris comes to talk with him. I am speculating he had a switch at the last minute in his decision to send Becca home. If he didn't keep her, that (in Harrison's words) could change everything. I believe someone in the forum said her parents knew she was getting an HTD? We are shown only what producers want us to see. I try to see all of it I can again, to help me attempt to piece together what could have really happened.  All my humble opinion.
Season preview

^Yeah, I noticed that as well. They didn't show Ben taking a minute to ponder in the episode, they made it seem like he talked to CH first and then it was straight forward. I wonder what really went on. I also wonder if there was more to Ben and Becca's conversation at the GD that we didn't get to see. I think at one point when he was talking we didn't hear it and instead got an ITM. The whole thing and Becca's reaction at the end just seemed weird. Oh well.

I think Ben's indecision and conversation with Chris about this would change everything may have been about considering doing 5 HT dates BUT when CH asked if he could see himself choosing all of them as a wife....as we saw he realized he was not seeing that with Becca so she was eliminated and the HT visits were kept at the traditional 4.  Ben struggles eliminating people which is obviously going to get worse and worse as we move toward the FRC.  Ben likes all these women some just more than others.

Yep, especially when she said to Ben, I asked you not to blindside me." She seemed ticked.
