Definitely, bean. In seasons past, the clues leaked during a season when added together pointed to the F1. Much to my chagrin, tons of clues from Jef during Maynard's Bette said that he was the F1; same with Jash and Chres (the Chres thread was unbelievable that season in picking up the clues that many viewers, self included, overlooked). The clues, sleuthing, and conflict resolution prove the F1.

It is interesting to me that TPTB introduced this type of "bump" into the Ben-Ren love story: calling into question Lauren's authenticity and integrity. That's a tough one to swallow. It essentially aligns Lauren with Olivia, this season's antagonist and villain, as two sides of the same coin: they're not who they seem to be. In the past, when this dynamic has happened, the person who is not the villain in the pairing is the F1.

At the same time, this whole scenario could have blown up in TPTB's faces: It could push Ben towards JoJo rather than bond him to Lauren. Now we'll start to see the hurdles that this couple will overcome to end up together.

Saw on Bryant's linked in that's he's done a mission trip w his church, some domestic and one international. Interested to know if Lauren has done the same, another connection she probably has w Ben.

The only reason not to might be that the poor lead is overwhelmed by all the SM stuff from these contestants who seem to live their life on SM. I only have FB and about 40 friends and I seriously wish some of them would just stop posting. Where do they find the time?

I see your point. I don't know if I'd want to follow all of the girls.. . I rather follow none than have to scroll through so many selfies and product endorsements.

Just to clarify: I meant that the lead follows all the contestants while the show airs, not necessarily afterwards. And everyone's accounts are public. When Art (Bach NZ) did this while the show was airing it actually made it difficult to look at SM as a sign or evidence for something. So if Ben had followed all the girls as the show airs and liked different pics then him liking one by his F1 wouldn't be seen as anything too big of a deal. It was just a fun thing for BachNZ specifically to follow all the likes/SM posts.... then again there was no RS either so it really made it fun as SM by the lead wasn't giving too much away.

Yes, I understood that. Once the show finished, they could certainly stop if they wished, but even just following them for duration of the show airing could be a nightmare.

I forget, how many women did they have for Art's season? I don't think it was as many as the US version which has 25 at least and this season had more.

that's true. There were fewer girls.  But I actually think it was worse for Art. The girls were posting lots of screenshots of themselves with him - especially the kissing ones. At least most of the US girls post mostly non-Ben pics and non-kissing ones if so. Plus, Ben wouldn't need to follow closely or login much ( he doesn't seem to use IG that much anyway) and probably could just login once or twice a week like some pics and logout and unfollow once the girls are off the show. I think it worked with Art too because there was no RS so all SM was really scrutinized. I bet Ben's notifications are crazier than his feeds though considering how many accounts he follows versus people tagging him.
