I'm biased but Colorado, Denver in particular, is a pretty freaking great place to live. The beach may not be nearby but 300+ days of sun every year makes up for it IMO.

Remember Trista said she's a warm weather girl, and still moved to where Ryan is? I think if they love each other enough, the place of living doesn't really matter.

Neither Ben nor Lauren are truly from LA/Denver. I imagine they could end up anywhere. Selfishly I want them to start out in Denver, just because LA is the kiss of death for these couples. But, especially if Ben does Dancing with the Stars (hope not), I can kind of see how LA might make the most sense for them. If Ben moves for Lauren, he'd be the first male lead to do so. 9/10 times its the women in these relationships that do the moving, and of the few times it's the guy, it's always been a contestant for the Bachelorette (Roberto and Jef are the only 2 that come to mind, and Jef's move was obviously very short lived.)

Lauren LOVES the beach. Ben's been spending a lot of time in LA. Maybe he is considering a move to CA so she'll be happy.

If Lauren and Ben really love each other, they will make it work wherever. I imagine husband/family/love of life > the beach/LA for Lauren, just as it was for Trista. Denver is a beautiful, young, vibrant city and area anyway. It's not like Ben would be making Lauren trade in LA for Warsaw, IN, which would be a much harder transition.

And remember Ben did say he had a house in Denver. But for Lauren it would most likely be easier for her to stay with Alaska Air and as long as she was high enough up in the senority then she could fly from Den to LA or SEA to start her flight line. I don't think it's as easy to change airline jobs as people think. I have friends who are F/A's and they pretty much stay put to one airline due to the way they have to bid their schedule is what I have been told.

If Ben and Lauren choose the "celebrity" LA lifestyle I give them very poor odds.  If they choose to live in So Cal and go back to a normal life as regular people then their odds will improve.  A beach lifestyle in So Cal is very expensive.  If they hope to buy a house/condo they will both have to make an excellent wage.

If they want to combine a "beach and mountain" lifestyle they would be wise to look at Seattle as it offers both.  It is more affordable and would be excellent for both of their jobs.

When Chris told Des he wanted to stay in Seattle she was willing to compromise. It seems like Ben hasn't spent much time in Denver since he finished filming. He may be willing to relocate for Lauren JMO

Agreed! I was just making the point that we shouldnt put too much weight on the whole beach girl thing
