I just am not hearing any s sounds after I ___ you for the word miss. Oh,no Diana, didn't take it that way at all that you are being rude. I saw where a few, I think Lucas? and someone swore she said ILY too and that was the only place I saw it, on this video, that sounded like it to me, but as I said, guess my ears are wacked.

It was me. Actually it was my wife who spotted it when the show first aired. Since then I've gone back and played it countless times with both of us listening at high volume, including many times through studio quality ear buds. There is definitely no "m" sound at the beginning of the second word, and definitely no sibilant "ss" sound as would be present if the second word was missed.

That's what I think too. I can hear her say, "I ______ you" but it's too squealy to tell. But he wouldn't have said, "I missed you too" if she had just told him she loved him. I don't think so, at least!
