I knew that the way JP started his note with, "My dearest Ashley" struck a chord, and with all the past references to "The Notebook", I realized it's the same way Noah starts his goodbye note to Allie- "My dearest Allie,..." Of course that note was heartbreaking, while this one is heartwarming. Coincidence?

I caught that too, but assumed it was deliberate because his gift was essentially starting their own notebook (love note at the beginning of an empty book and all). He did call it chapter one, and said he can't wait for the next chapter, and of course there's "the greatest love story ever told". I just assumed that he's watched The Notebook one too many times for his own good... :giggle:

Looking back, now that we know, it's so obvious they both fell deeply in love in HK, and we're on their way before that, in the umbrella/beach scene. Beside the on screen visual of their love and passion, we got huge clues:

She practically tells him. "I don't want you to look back on our journey and have any questions". duh.

And he vblog, he practically told us" Good things to come for Ashley" duh

And his commentary watching the HTD. All of them, but "I AM very happy, MOM". duh

It was never hidden, and it is The Greatest Love Story Ever Told"
