The Bachelor 20 - Ben Higgins - General Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers* #3

IMO Lauren set the tone of their relationship from the start. She let him know, that while she'd be disappointed if she went home, she'd be fine. He saw her as a woman who knows her value and he has to show her his appreciation, and validation. He was interested enough to make that effort for her, and he has been doing that throughout the journey. She's the only woman he's made his own extra effort for. IMO he doesn't want her to doubt that he's on the same page with her. And then she gives back. She doesn't have past hang ups holding her back, she's not afraid to move forward and let Ben know that. Basically, he gives reassurance and validation, and she readily respond back. 

Whereas JoJo to a point has told Ben what he wanted to hear. She has been his listening ear about the process and been validating his feelings that he's doing fine. IMO it was very telling of this how she comforted him after he let Jubilee go home. He felt a little victimy, so she IMO stroked his ego. The few times she's questioned him herself, he hasn't known what to do, and he hasn't validated her. Also, she has her past hanging up on her, and on a fast paced show like this, there's no time for that. You've got to have your ish together before the show. We have her ex involved in the next episode, and I doubt it happened without JoJo's approval. So she is not ready to open up to Ben at least not fast enough and convincingly enough for this show.

A bachelorette who makes it far into the process allegedly had a serious boyfriend back home the entire time she was on the show.

"Ben had no idea," a source told In Touch. "She leaves the show still having a boyfriend."

IMHO it's either Haley or the story is completely made up.  Unless they are talking about JoJos ex on the HTD.  Which appears to be no big deal as she stays to F2 and by then HTDs are long forgotten. IMHO

Honestly, I think they were trying to pull a fast one with saying he pulls a Mesenick. Pulling a Mesnick not only refers to changing his mind, BUT also crying uncontrollably over a balcony. I believe he does pull a Mesnick, but of the balcony variety over hurting JoJo. IMO

I think I have enough in common with Ben that we could actually make it! Lol Baked BBQ chips are my favorite snack, I hate my face being touched, Saved By the Bell is an obsession, I've torn my ACL playing basketball, I hate horror stories, and well I love him. Good enough reasons to start a relationship right?! Lololol

I'd never make it in a relationship with Ben. I HATE mornings and I love horror movies. Sorry Ben, it just wasn't meant to be between us.
