Last week, Ashley Hebert tweeted, "Ok everyone. Need a new hair style... Any ideas?!? Link pics!"

And the star of ABC's The Bachelorette debuted her dramatic new look (courtesy of New York City hairstylist Vince Smith), when she hit the town with fiance J.P. Rosenbaum, 34, on Saturday.

"Cleopatra comin atcha!" she wrote of her shorter, darker 'do, on Monday which features trendy blunt bangs.

The 27-year-old, who was named one of Us Weekly's Most Stylish New Yorkers (along with Rosenbaum), recently revealed that she primped for a big bash in their honor on a commuter train.

Ashley Hebert in the "Boy Meets Girl!" fashion show: Exclusive pictures!

Scottsdale TV Examiner

September 21, 2011

Ashley Hebert had a blast during when she participated in Stacy Igel's "Boy Meets Girl!" fashion show in New York City on 9/11. Wednesday, exclusive pictures became available that Ashley and JP fans will see only here. The Bachelorette lovebirds were recently named to the Us Weekly "Most Stylish New Yorkers of 2011" list, and Scottsdale fans know that these two know how to dress. Ashley was excited to take part in Stacy's show, which pulled fashion, music and sports into one fun 80s-themed show. The event featured not only Ashley, but tennis star Veronica Azrenka, NBA players Shawn Marion and Dwight Howard and actress Paula Garces, and music was provided by The Veronicas. The show benefited the American Red Cross and was dedicated to the 9/11 victims, and everyone had a blast.

Designer Stacy Igel was excited to share her vision for her “Boy Meets Girl” presentation. The show celebrated the 10th anniversary of "Boy Meets Girl!" and this fun event took place on the 10th anniversary of the September 11th attacks as well. Stacy explained,

“I love fusing music, fashion and sports together. It is very ‘Boy Meets Girl®!’ This special 10-year anniversary show for me was even more special as I was able to fuse a live acoustic performance by The Veronicas with my presentation along with having Ashley Hebert as a model and NBA Dwight Howard and tennis hottie Victoria Azrenka as special hosts. This night was in remembrance of 9/11 and the shirt Ashley wore in the show will be available on my site www.boymeetsgirlusa.com in Sp’12 and the proceeds from the sale of this shirt will be donated to the American Red Cross in dedication of 9/11 victims. The evening was truly beautiful on so many levels. And is a perfect set-up for my Boy Meets Girl College Fashion Week kicking off at Penn State University.”

Ashley had been teasing fans via her Twitter page about her planned participation in the show for a while, and she had a great time. Fiancé JP Rosenbaum was thrilled to be there to support her, and he admitted that it was worth giving up a Sunday of football to attend. Perhaps meeting NBA players Shawn Marion and Dwight Howard lessened the blow, as he is a huge fan of both players. Ashley enjoyed meeting these sports icons as well, sharing of Dwight, “He’s so tall that when we were getting photos taken I barely came up to his waist.” Shawn was a hit as well, as Ashley shared, “Such a nice guy! I stood on the banquet and he sat down, he was still taller.”

While Ashley Hebert has assured fans she’s not shifting her focus to fashion as a career, she had a blast participating in the show. Her look was dramatically different from her day-to-day style, but Ashley loved it.

"Stacy is awesome! The dress is a vintage piece, originally a tunic, that Stacy reconstructed to fit me perfectly. My hair was so curly!!! I didn't even know it could do that. I loved rocking the 80's look while listening to The Veronica's live. It was such an honor to be part of fashion week and for such a great cause. It made me really embrace New York on such a memorious day. Proceeds of sales from the t-shirt, that I wore, will be donated to the 9/11 victims. The entire night was just amazing and so many different people came out to support, that was the best part!"

Click on the slideshow on the left-hand side of the page to see exclusive photos of Ashley and JP along with the other celebrities in attendance. The evening was a star-studded event with a fun mix of stellar athletes, talented musicians, familiar faces and fashion experts all in one place. JP and Ashley clearly had a great time, and it is another example of how beautifully they are building a life together after becoming engaged on The Bachelorette.

Next up for The Bachelor franchise is Ben Flajnik taking the lead. He may have left The Bachelorette crushed and shocked, but he is ready to try again and will be romancing 25 bachelorettes himself. Ashley and JP have both shared they are excited to see him get this opportunity, and fans already love him. Taping just began on The Bachelor, and it will air on ABC (Channel 15 in Scottsdale) beginning Monday, January 2, 2012.

Ashley Hebert’s New Cleopatra-esque Haircut

Ashley and J.P - Media - No Discussion - Page 7 Ashley-hebert-300x400

She’s all aflutter with a newfound romance, but that’s not all former Bachelorette star Ashley Hebert is proudly showing off. She’s also rocking a new do!

The hunt for new hair began last week, when the star reached out to the Twitterverse for input. “Ok everyone. Need a new hair style… Any ideas?!? Link pics!” she Tweeted. Several days later, she thanked fans for the help and promised she would debut a new look soon.

Not surprisingly, she did! Hebert traded in her longer locks for a shorter, trendier cut, which she debuted on Saturday while out and about in New York with fiancé J.P. Rosenbaum. ”Cleopatra comin atcha! Haha,” she Tweeted of her new Egyptian-inspired look, marked by a darker hue and blunt bangs. Tell us: What do you think of Hebert’s new hair?

Ashley Hebert Plays 'Millionaire' for Alzheimer's Action Day

September 21, 2011 11:10 PM EDT

Ashley Hebert played The Bachelorette earlier this year, but on Wednesday she played Millionaire. And she played the TV game show for a very good reason: to give her winnings to Alzheimer's Association for the group's efforts on the best day of the year for this particular disease because September 21 is designated as World Alzheimer's Action Day.

This fairly new celebrity was a good player for this great cause. No doubt she made everyone proud—particularly her fiancé JP Rosenbaum and especially when she answered (correctly!) a question about construction while taking one quiz question that came up while she was under the gun. Apparently, this is one woman who can take a lot of pressure, even on live TV.

That said, in the end, Ashley Hebert took a whopping $15,800 away with her when she said goodbye to Millionaire and goodbye to host Meredith Vieria, with whom she shared a very heartfelt hug.

By way of background, Ashley Hebert was not the only celebrity to play Who Wants to be a Millionaire to benefit a cure for this devastating disease and to advocate for Alzheimer's awareness through the Alzheimer's Association. On episodes of this syndicated (and pre taped show) that started airing September 19 (and that will continue through to September 23), other household names who played the game for this the charity organization that helps to give funds to this public health treat known to be greatly underfunded were Carson Kressley, Vivica A. Fox, Anthony Anderson, and Susie Essman.

But tonight it was Ashley Hebert's turn as she made big bucks knowing plenty of trivia and sharing it. Yes, The Bachelorette played Millionaire for a good cause on Alzheimer's Action Day. Well done, pretty lady.

Q & A with J.P. Rosenbaum
"The Bachelorette" winner and construction manager talks about his new LI project and life after the TV show
October 07, 2011 11:00AM By Katherine Clarke

Despite his sudden fame, J.P. Rosenbaum, the victor on the last season of ABC's "The Bachelorette," seems remarkably unfazed.

The Long-Island native, a construction manager for New York City-based J Companies, a residential and commercial real estate services and consulting firm, won a happily-ever-after -- though they have yet to tie the knot -- with the beautiful bachelorette Ashley Herbert, but he has other things on his mind. Rosenbaum is consulting on one of the biggest projects he's been involved with to date, the construction of a 330,000-square-foot retail center in Nassau County. The project, called Gallery at Westbury Plaza, in Westbury, L.I., by national powerhouse developer Equity One, is slated to be completed in the fall of 2012.

In his first real estate-related interview since graduating "The Bachelorette," Rosenbaum, who has just moved into to a new Midtown apartment with Hebert, sat down with The Real Deal to talk about life, love and condo conversions.

So, how long have you been with J Companies?
I've been there for four-and-a-half years. Prior to that, I was working for a small family [construction] business in Brooklyn.

Why did you decide to do "The Bachelorette?"
A friend nominated me online… It was totally out of character for me to do something like that. Up until a week before [I was set to leave], I wasn't sure I wanted to go.

How did the decision to do the show affect your job?
I'd been working on pre-construction consulting for the gallery project for almost a year before I went, but then there was a gap in time while they were finishing demolition and not much was going on so I thought that would be the time to do it. It was not a given that I would have a job when I came back. [My employers] were skeptical, totally supportive, but didn't fully understand why I was doing it.

How long were you away?
I was away from work for about two and a half months. While I was gone, they had finished the abatement and demolition of the existing buildings… They hadn't gotten into the ground yet. I sent an email to everyone saying I was taking a leave of absence, but I couldn't tell them I where I was going. Eventually I sent another email saying "I'm healthy, I'm fine, I'm not going to prison" [laughs].

I guess in real estate you don't worry too much about being recognized…
You'd be surprised.

Has the new fame helped you at all in your real estate career?
Maybe it will open doors. It hasn't yet, but you never know.

Tell us about your Long Island project. You used to live by there, didn't you?
Equity One purchased an Avis rental car headquarters that had been vacant for around 10 years. I grew up 15 or 20 minutes from the job site. They purchased the site in late 2009, got site plan approvals and hired us over a year ago for the pre-construction consulting design phase. We have two people working on the project, myself and Allan Brot, who's the principal of our company, taking an owner's representative role. I'm on site once or twice a week liasing between consultants, construction and the owners. Steel is currently being erected and we're on our way. It's a 24-acre site and it's going to have two buildings and 390 gross square feet.

How much of the development is leased already?
I think it's 50 percent pre-leased. The tenants I can name are Nordstom Rack, Saks Off Fifth, Trader Joe's and the Container Store.

What does a development like this mean for that area of Long Island?
East of Meadowbrook Parkway, it has Best Buy, Costco; it's a retail hub. Here, anyone who knows this area knows what the site used to be like so everyone is happy.

What Manhattan projects have you done?
I worked on 141 Fifth Avenue for Savanna Partners at a condo conversion. [Conversions] are a totally different animal. You never know what you'll find inside the walls. The building's going to talk to you once you start construction. There can be a ton of surprises.

You met with real estate mogul Elie Hirschfeld recently to discuss a possible project at 218 East 79th Street. Did you get the job?
I met [Hirschfeld] through a mutual friend. He's still in the schematic design phase so it's premature to pick a manager. Once he's ready to move on with the project, I'm sure we'll sit down again. It's in our wheelhouse and it's something we'd love to do.

How has J Companies been affected by the recession?
We've downsized by about 70 percent since I started, from about 40 people to about 12 or 15. I'm busier because there's just more for me to do. We're not running a skeleton crew exactly, but it's a tight ship. We're definitely being more selective about the projects we take. We want to know that the developer has the means, has the financing. We don't bid on jobs so it's all about word of mouth and reputation. Architects and engineers are much busier than they were and it starts with them. It's definitely much better than it was even two years ago.

Tiara Time! Ashley Hebert to Hit Beauty Pageant Circuit

41 minutes ago by Gina Carbone

Photo Credit: Ashley Hebert on Twitter

Break out your pageant waves and Vaseline smiles! Bachelorette Ashley Hebert is co-hosting this year’s Miss Maine USA and Miss Maine Teen USA Pageant.

Another Ashley, Survivor: Redemption Island contestant and Miss Maine 2009 Ashley Underwood, tweeted the news about her fellow Mainer:

@AshleyUSurvivor: “I can finally announce that my co-host for the Miss Maine USA/Teen USA comp is the lovely @ashhebert!! Smiley @mainecrown @nancyschuster.”

And just what are Ashley Hebert’s credentials, pageant enthusiasts may wonder? Well, besides being a Madawaska, Maine, native, she did win a few Maine Junior Miss talent and fitness scholarships. (That counts, right?) And her sister, Chrystie Hebert Corns, was Miss Madawaska in 1996. Plus, she knows a little something about being thrust into the spotlight and forced to answer some difficult questions. (Too bad the pageant winner doesn’t get her own JP Rosenbaum.)

The official site doesn’t seem to have the new event date/time info posted yet, but last year it was around the end of November — so it’s probably safe to assume it will fall around the same time. Maybe they can borrow some tiaras from Bachelor Pad 2 vet Erica Rose.

JP Rosenbaum: Fiancee Ashley's Hebert's Haircut Left Me "Speechless"

Bachelorette fans weren't the only ones shocked when the show's star, Ashley Hebert debuted a dramatically shorter and darker hairstyle last month. Her fiance JP Rosenbaum, 34, also had an intense reaction.

"The first time I saw it I was speechless," he told Us Weekly. "I think people either really love it or really hate it. I really love it."

And while Rosenbaum is thrilled with his love's new look, he hinted that Hebert, 27, may not keep the Cleopatra 'do for too much longer.

"It's one of those things where she can change in three or four months if she doesn't like it. It'll run its course and then she'll move on to the next one."
The reality TV duo recently upgraded to a larger apartment in the Midtown area of New York City, but as for wedding plans, Rosenbaum says they're still undecided about when to say "I do."

"She watched Kim Kardashian's wedding, so that got her mind thinking, but we are going to wait until she's done with school," he told Us. "If it's earlier, great. If it's not until towards the end of the year, great. If it's in 2013, great. We've thrown around a few ideas, but we're all over the place."
