Becca Tilly - Bachelor 20 - #3 - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

Maybe this is naive, but I was thinking it may have been Ben's choice, not TPTB to send her home because he didn't want her to say her first "I love you" to him when he knew she was not the one for him. Had she stayed that may well have happened and it seems exactly like something MF would want.

No more silly than Lauren B. professing her love at the FRC, right?

As for Becca, we will have to wait and see. When Chris told her goodbye, she shed no tears. I'm interested to see how she is this time around when Ben lets her go. I believe that she will say she was falling in love with him. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

That could very well be true especially if Ben knew he was going to choose Lauren at that point. Nothing worse than pulling the old "ILY" out of someone right before they are about to get dumped. I hope for her sake she doesn't tell Ben she loves him, but she might say something in the limo about that she was falling in love. Did she ever tell Chris she was falling in love? I can't remember.

Sillier than that because Becca didn't even make it to the end and she never got a second date or a GDR from him so I find it hard to swallow that she actually believed Ben was into her. However I do think all the professing of love and "it was always you!" and "it was love at first sight!" or whatever at the FRC is silly too. The final couple doesn't even know each other either. I think there was only one proposal I actually enjoyed watching on this show. The rest of the time I'm rolling my eyes.

LOL. Of course! If that wasn't the most romantic and heartfelt proposal ever then I don't know what is.

It was actually Des and Chris. It melted my cynical heart that he still wanted to be with her after all that drama.

I agree! I'm extremely biased, but I've been saying that she was genuine since day one, based on what I knew/was told by people who knew. There's a VERY good chance that many others will see how genuine she was when she gets sent home. I will just leave it at that. As for the "falling in love" comment, that's something to keep an eye on. Like I said, IMO, y'all will see how genuine she was when she gets sent home.

As for the HTD, I'm going to be extremely careful with what I say, but in short, there were people in the know who believed it was a certainty. There's no doubt about that. There are people in the know who have a good idea why the plans fell through, but that doesn't matter at this point. And contrary to what RS posted, her sisters DID NOT run their mouths about it, that I can promise you.

Thank you for sharing, DA.  There are some of us that still are team Becca and feel she is genuine.  Becca's first love might possibly be Ben.  That's very sweet and I can see why!  

Thank you DA and ITA Mo1: I think Becca is genuine and sincere and Ben does too since he said so. Becca has so many fans as well and more than ever even in Australia and New Zealand too so she is very beloved. Falling in love can happen in a moment or take a while. My hubby fell in love day he met me (it took me years to admit the same) and I know plenty others too. And it isn't just lust either, I believe it can happen. I also believe that it can be unrequited. Hopefully Becca will find someone who will be like Ben too.

That was my favorite too. People laughed, but he didn't care. Talk about quiet confidence!

I'm not sure, but I think that she said she was "falling" but had not yet fully "fallen" in love with him, if that makes sense.

  I think we're def gong to see her leave in tears from what DebutAbum has hinted at  and I wouldn't be surprised if they get her to say she "loves Ben", what she wouldn't say to Chris (only that she was "falling" -semantics, but the show lies to make that difference into a big deal). Job accomplished by TPTB getting her to fall in line with the concept and her in changing her image, though I have no clue why she'd want to.

Oh Becca . Seems like coming across as a mature, independent woman who could think for herself last season isn't an image she wanted to have. I think she's probably crushing on Ben, but After saying she's never been in love before, if she says that after one date re Ben, I will feel really sad and embarrassed for her and the memory of the girl I liked so much last year will be totally wiped out.
