Becca Tilly - Bachelor 20 - #3 - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

I think Ben has the perfect description of Becca.

After all he knows her personally and I think his choice of word-matching for Becca is what I will take his word on. It seems to be exactly what Becca's close friends describe her as as well.  

Ben was on Ellen and he played the describe the contestant in one word game and this is what he said to describe Becca. (I posted in the SM thread Ben's descriptions of the other girls and they are all spot on, imo, and exactly what Ben has said and shown with Lauren B as sweet, JoJo as passionate, Caila as sexy, Amanda as tender, Olivia as intense, etc etc).

I believe Ben when he says that Becca is sincere.  :Nod:

^^^I have no doubt that Becca is sincere....just like Ben was sincere with Kaitlyn last season....sincerely wanting to be the lead. Nothing wrong with that except that he didn't list a multitude of reasons why the show didn't work as a venue to fall in love. She did. Plus he isn't a virgin who has never been in a relationship. Hence why she had to have the big discussion to clear the air and have to make out like a demon. And let's not forget the cherry. Ben is a trooper!

But regarding the tongue action, all I saw was Becca's tongue and this was right after the "I am a virgin and saving myself for marriage" chat.  I am sure Ben was enjoying it but as a viewer it was not comfortable watching.  

^ Not trying to be a broken record, but for me it all comes down to returning to a show she clearly stated was too fast paced for her. It's not like they agreed to change the format of the show to secure her agreement to return.

^ This is a new season and different for both of them. I see a different side to Ben as well. Becca is not stating the same stuff as over a year ago so I don't see it applying to this season that Becca is on. I take what she says now and apply that as if it was her first time on. The whole list of "reasons" have been debated full circle and Ben brought them full circle on his date and the trajectory is beyond that now for him. I don't believe Ben let Becca go because she was anything like she was on CS season or that she didn't feel stuff. Quite the contrary - I think he let her go because she did feel things for him that he didn't reciprocate at that same level.

I do think people can change and grow as people and learn from things and from what Ben said and blogged about, it's obvious to me that Becca is quite able to commit and feel love and is sincere about that. As for the cherry - Ben was loving that!! He wasn't awkward acting with Becca doing that at all! He even watched himself on BL. I really don't think Becca is this monster fame whore or make out demon - far from it, imho.

I think so too. I think Ben let her go when he realised she was having serious feelings, because he didn't want her to fall in love for the first time with someone who's already in love with someone else. JMO.

IMO I can't look at Becca's journey on Ben's season with reasons from CS's season b/c they're not the same - just like they weren't the same for Nick even though it was seen the same for him coming back again by many and even though they aren't the same type of people I think Becca was just as sincere about going on the show for Ben and had real feelings for him.

Luckily, Ben had already gone through a season with a returnee and had seen what had happened to Nick as a returnee and undoubtedly he did not want to do that to Becca. I think he likes and cares for her as a person and had already fallen for his F1 so wanted to spare Becca more of what he saw another returnee go through - something which I don't think Ben would have allowed for that to happen - not on his watch! He's no Kaitlyn that's for sure, thankfully!!

Newish Botox. I don't even have to say IMO because I've seen it first hand. It looks best after about a month.

Yup, Becca initiated the tongue. Looked completely awkward and try hard to my eyes.

But that's just it. It isn't her first time on! She is better prepared this time. She knows what to expect. She knows what to say. Obviously, she can't control what situations tptb throw at her, but she knows the stuff about her virginity and her last appearance will come up. She is prepared...and that has nothing to do with whether or not she sincerely likes Ben or not. I do think she likes him, he is after all the perfect Ben...just like CS was Prince Farming. She is in love with the idea of whoever is the object of her latest romantic fantasy. I'm not saying she is this horrible person, just an immature one who seems to be trying too hard to project a much sexier, ready for love and jumping a man's bones image. I ask myself why? She has stated that the format of the show is too quick and doesn't work for her. She has a large SM following and was very well liked last season...just as she was! The only answer I come up with is she wants to be the next Bette. Either way, to me she seems to be trying to be someone she is not and it is coming off as fake. I just don't want a season of her trying to reinvent herself again. It's painful enough watching it now.

Yes ^.  I used to think she was going on again for: 

1) Ben
2) B'ette 

but since night one I can only see that she went on for:

1) B'ette
2) Ben

She is a bad actress as well and what I see when I look at her is a neon sign (how ironic) flashing "GUILTY" across her forehead! 

She complained on sm about being seen last season as "boring." I'm seeing a concerted effort to "sex up" and prove she's not boring, and could carry show as lead, which I personally am convinced was the reason for returning ('ette audition). The effort is a total failure imo, but that's what I see her doing

It's ok to kiss a guy tongue and all on national TV, twice, but you must save yourself for marriage and it will last forever?

FYI it's the anniversary of the Lewinsky scandal.

I too agree with those that say she's trying to hard and IMO it's coming off as awkward. Her skirt was so tight and so short she had to pull it down before she sat down. Totally unnecessary IMO to be wearing clothes so tight solely to look sexy.
