Something was so off to me when they were shooting baskets... Ben - "I have so many questions for you" then pauses and kinda laughs to himself... (like what questions besides doing the show all over again?) then later about the moment she surprised him on night one "I couldn't quite grasp it. I didn't expect to see you." And her explaining that she couldn't open up before but now she wants to with Ben .. exactly what some here predicted would be her storyline. I honestly feel this is Becca wanting to change her boring image, and it'll probably work bc she's more into Ben than Chris. But I do think her image was the number one driving factor here.

If Cupcake & Ben were texting, I wonder if it came up that she stood Jared up. Honestly, that is what annoys me most

Caila isn't a returning contestant and she was in a relationship that was coming to an end in her head anyway. If she were to follow Becca's example on reality tv, I wouldn't give her a pass. Ditching Jared to go on Ben's season makes Becca's genuine interest in Ben suspect. She saw other opportunities. At least that's how I see it. It has less, if anything, to do with me feeling sorry for Jared

Unless Caila's ex is friends with Ben, the situations are completely different. You don't ditch a guy to go off and date his hotter friend and get a pass for it. IMO.

The guys probably have much more information and 'truth factor' to the whole Becca ordeal than any of us. So if they're all not fond of her...there has to be a legitimate reason. Especially considering how level headed a few of those guys are.

Ben and Jared are close friends. If JJ, Tanner, Jared, whoever isn't fond of Becca for ditching one of their close friends to date another one their close friends, they are completely justified IMO.

The problem with the comparisons is it comes off as making Becca's actions seem less worse by comparing her to a more "extreme" example. If Becca is worth defending at all and did nothing wrong then surely she can be defended without saying "Caila did it too and she was much worse".

Personally I don't like that Caila dumped her boyfriend to go date Ben on TV. I also don't like that Becca probably stood up Jared to go date Ben on TV. For me Caila has other good qualities I really like that make up for her less good qualities and I find her pleasant and entertaining to watch. For me Becca's good qualities don't make her any more interesting to me and I find her to be a snooze to watch. It's just simple as that for me.

I think the comparison is valid and I think that both girls did a sketchy thing. Doesn't mean that they aren't generally likable, kind, and caring people but sometimes people do stupid things for love and/or fame. I think it's okay to point that out; it's just one thing about them and if I'm going to really hate someone, it should be a consistent pattern. So far, I don't see that with either girl but that's why it'll be interesting to see how they act on the show and afterwards. JMO.

Well, for anyone that is interested, Becca is hanging out with Robert today.

To me, if Caila or anyone else stood up Jared to go on TV I would not think that action as bad as Becca dumping her boyfriend to go on TV.

It's the actions I am weighing against each other, no matter who did them my thoughts would be the same.

But why does Caila need to be brought up in here at all? Her actions don't justify Becca's. Why can't Becca's actions be defended on their own?
