The most recent picture? The most popular comment regarding Becca is "Too bad you brought Becca back had enough of her in the last show stop bringing previous people back please!". I think if you cherry pick comments from every forum or SM or tabloid, you'll find positive comments for her, but there are quite a few negative comments as well. And, honestly, is anyone beside Lace getting any negative comments right now? We saw Becca for approximately 45 seconds; it was pretty remarkable if she was able to generate hate in that much time.

I'm sure this has been mentioned elsewhere already, but in the preview at the end of the episode, when Ben was agonizing over sending someone home and CH said it would change everything, it looked like the Indiana RC. He said he wants her to know his feelings for her were real. I thought he was talking about Becca. I do think he felt bad for leading her on, since he was already crazy about Lauren, so he decided last minute to cut her before the hometowns.

Yeah, I think debut mentioned that. I think so too and that would explain why she sounded so blindsided and angry on SM that day after. It would also explain why Kasha had heard she was supposed to get a HTD and never did - maybe she was supposed to, but Ben realized her feelings were stronger than the other girls'.

read the comments under TB Twitter account with #WCW. They are all pretty much about Becca and positive. When it comes to SM, I usually look at Twitter mostly, since that is where the show itself (Chris Harrison, Elan, Millsy, Fleiss, and others) get their social media from and look at for feedback and RT, etc. They only tweet, they don't facebook anything and so because they don't bother with FB other than just TB account it's why I usually focus on Twitter for Bach US seasons...

Well, if she really didn't win the poll but TPTB "fixed" it so she would appear to be the winner/most popular, then that's an even stronger indication that AT THIS POINT (subject to change as the season plays out) they are looking at her as a top contender to be the next lead.

Wasn't there some spoiler/rumor that Becca was definitely slated to get a HTD, and then at the last minute things changed? If this is true, I suspect it might be because Ben really felt guilty about leading her on any further and insisted on sending her home, despite producers' plans to give her a top 4 finish (for Bachelorette consideration). And I think it was likely Caila who was dragged along in her place (Amanda was always going to get a sob story HTD so they could exploit her two adorable children ), so maybe the plan was for Becca to finish at F3, which is always the preferred spot for the next lead.

Look, I don't care a whit about Becca either, but I have to acknowledge that she does have a strong and relatively sizable fan base who think she's all that, and right now, I think that's who the producers are listening to. If things change as the season progresses, and one of the other finalists becomes super popular, they'll go in a different direction. But as someone mentioned earlier, the other three options all have drawbacks as well.

The thing is for me it would be remiss of me to overlook stuff just because of my personal opinion of Becca. It was emphasized heavily pre-season that Becca would get tons of backlash and it was also discussed here that that would be the case and it is not the case... the OPPOSITE is the case when The Bachelor Live show is polling Becca as #1 choice. I mean, I never thought that THAT would happen where after the FIRST episode Becca is #1 on the poll? And like you posted, if it was fixed, then that is even MORE of TPTB doing that and it is a positive thing to make Becca seem like a top choice for Ben.

I will say it again, Becca came in as one of the most beloved F2s in the history of this show and with lots of followers and goes to at least F5 and seems to not be indicated in any previews as being given a negative edit at all. If that continues, then to me, her going back on the show will not end up being a negative thing at all. It means she had a positive experience and NOT dragged to FDs or F2 and is still well-liked as Becca 2.0. That's pretty impressive in my books for a returnee, especially an F2 returnee.

Speculation is always fun! I wonder if we're going to get an ILY from Becca this season - that would explain why Ben felt so bad about letting her go and why she (seemingly) felt so blindsided. I can see the producers really pushing for it too.

As an aside, I hope she goes on afterbuzz this year! She's friends with everyone there and I would love to hear about her thought process going into it. Nick's appearance really clarified a lot of things for me.

Whoops didn't mean to insinuate that it's too early to discuss that - *I* just don't know what the heck will happen with Becca this season, I basically glossed over her on Monday night laugh out loud

. I don't think we've heard anything negative about her during taping, she seems liked by the cast, and wasn't shown too much in the previews, so maybe she'll come out like last time! Generally liked, but not 'Bachelorette' liked.

Yikes I hope not. There did seem to be a lot of ILY's in the previews from a number of girls. More than it seems there usually are. If TPTB had their way they'd all say it!
