Becca Tilly - Bachelor 20 - #3 - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

Many Christians wait until marriage to have sex. I believe this is the case for Becca. Jessica Simpson waited until marriage also (to Nick Lachey).

She only waited the first time (allegedly) as she got pregnant before marriage the second time. And, of course, John Mayer talked about their sex life. And, she was like 21 when she married Nick. I think that's the problem - I know people who waited for marriage, but they all got married super young. Like in their teens or right out of college. Are there many guys who are 27-30 like Becca waiting? Probably not. There are probably a few that would wait for her, like Jared maybe, but it's going to take a really good man crazy in love with her to do that.

Jessica waited because it was important to her faith as a Christian. I believe the same applies to Becca. There are Christian men waiting for marriage too, but she will have to look harder to find them. My DH was a virgin when we married, so they are out there!

I have a good friend who waited for marriage and was 27, and her hubby is a reformed manwhore who went abstinent for 3 years for her.

Men will do it for the right woman. That being said, just like with Tenley, those men are not likely to be part of the bachelor dating pool.

Ben on paper seemed good, but IMO, if he was interested in Becca he could have sought her out before

If Becca and Tenley desire a great Christian man I wish they would look for him in a more appropriate place. JMO.

There have been a few male contestants on The Bachelorette who were virgins.  Matt from Meredith's season was one, I'm pretty sure, he was F2.  Also some guy on Deanna's season.  I agree that there have been far fewer than with the women.

To me, it's not Becca's virginity, as much as her lack of relationship experience that is the problem. Granted, getting confused between being in "real love" vs "Bachelor love" is a constant on this show, but if one hasn't ever even been in love in the real world, I don't think they should be cutting their teeth on this franchise and expecting it to work out. IF Becca is the next Bachelorette, I'll be shocked if it works out successfully for her as far as finding her husband.

They want to be on TV first and foremost and if they meet a great guy during the process, it's a bonus.

4. Becca, 26: It’s hard to have an unbiased opinion here, but knowing from last season how reasonable Becca is, I doubt she’d return if she didn’t think she’d make it reasonably far. (No former runner-up would sully their Bachelor resume by getting eliminated Night One on a different season!) This makes me wonder if she and Ben knew each other already. Which makes me remember Nick on Kaitlyn’s season. Which makes me think she has a bit of a leg up. Plus, well, it’s Becca. She’s lovely and so gosh darn likeable. Methinks Ben might think so, too.
