Just as glad neither Ben nor Lauren is on DWTS. I am sure it's fresh in their minds what happened to Chris and Whitney's relationship. Hollywood can "get to your head" and IMHO both of them are too sensible and focused on each other and their relationship to get involved in more TV exposure.

Great start to the season. A few dances were a little hard to watch. Marla Maples isn't good but she's not as bad as Tony's other partners so seems like he'll have a good time! Props to Ginger Zee for going out there 3 months after baby!! My favorite was Wanya from Boys 2 Men! He was moving and grooving out on that dance floor! Unlike last season where we all figured Bindi would win, now it's anyone's for grabs! But probably not Geraldo or Mischa

That was probably one of the best opening nights that I can remember. No obvious winners and lots of potential. My favourite was Nyle...that man was hot and it is amazing how well he danced considering he can't hear the music. Antonio and Wanya were my other favs. Geraldo, Micha and sadly, Doug are on the bottom.

I'm actually looking forward to this season...and Len is back!

Oh yes how could I forget about Nyle!

Nyle was amazing, I'm gonna love his and Peta's partnership. A really good quality first night! Shout out to the troupe, they're so amazing too, I love love love Jenna.

I rewatched Nyles dance on mute now - truly incredible that he could do that. This season is honestly his to lose, everyone loves him after tonight.
I also LOVE Wanya and Lindsay. They had me smiling the whole way through so I hope he continues dancing well. Lindsay is shaping up to be one of the best pros on the show.
Most of my votes on facebook went to Doug this week - I always vote for the endearing under dog in the beginning. Hope he does better next week.

My top 3 prediction is Nyle, Wanya and Antonio - I think atleast 1 NFL player will make it to the finale.

I watched Nyle on America's Next Top Model; he was great. Glad to see him on this show and hope he will go far.

Unfortunately do not like Peta's previous technique since to me she tries to out dance her partners and do not balance them.  Hope she is more attentive to Nyles however and he takes home the ball.

Great season opener!  So much surprise talent.  This will be a fun filled and competitive season and no ringers.  Ginger Z/Val are my fav going in but Waylan/Lindsey were so fun to watch too.  The guys were all good (but Geraldo) and it could be a guy that wins this year.

Loved Nyle and Peta and respect Peta for coming up with ways to communicate so they stay in sync, but Nyle has natural body rhythm and big blue eyes!  

I enjoyed all the cast last night and look forward to seeing how they advance.
