^^^ that's why I still think there's a possibility that Ben might be doing it. I know the spoiler chick said no but I just find it hard to believe they'd pass on Emma, especially when her boyfriend just got promoted to pro and will be committed to the show. I'll believe no Ben if next Tuesday passes with no announcement. Until then I continue to think it's possible. Maybe a long shot one, but a possibility.

She said on instagram she will not be on this season.I wonder if she just wanted a season off, or the producers did give her a place this season..or if there will be a surprise star that will be later announced.I believe, as much as I would like to see Ben on the season, he needs to take a break...and spend some time with his lady! Especially after how this season has gone in the last few weeks, he does not need to go jumping into another's lady arms...even for dancing!

I saw Emma's IG statement. It seemed like there was wiggle room there for an announcement to be made later. I'm probably more wrong than right (about her being a pro this season) but I just have a nagging feeling there is something more to the story.

Ben has mentioned several times he has ACL problems. I don't think he'll be on DWTS.

But I think I've mentioned before that I still have a torn ACL in my knee from an injury I had just before I was on The Bachelorette. I can still run and jump okay, but any sort of cutting or change of direction and I'm toast, so I decided to sit this one out.

Was that about the soccer date? That would mean that the injury happened before he started filming in September. That is six months ago so I think it could be possible for him to have healed but at the moment it looks as if he isn't doing it. Too bad. I would have enjoyed watching a less edited version of Ben and seeing more of his personality.

As someone who has torn both my ACLs, 6 months post op is more the timeline for pro athletes and even they aren't 100% until a year post op. I;m guessing the ACL injury happened in high school or college for Ben so he's been recovered for several years. Even then, many don't get back to pre-injury form.
