Sweet Home Alabama Season 1 ~ Discussion ~ Spoilers

Collin has been on of my favorites since the season started. But I wonder if it is going to be Jason ??? the guy that only came back from the NY date. She looked so pretty in the dress he picked out for her.

When was filming? Glad they are still together!

Did the show have it's finale yet?

Not yet, it's down to four...two get sent home this week.

I cannot watch it when it is on TV and it seems to take the website so long to download the video. I still have yet to watch last week's episode.

Finally caught up with all the episodes! I find Devin pretty level headed and knows what she wants. Love Adam and Collin!

Not really into Tribble and Maxim (which means one of them is going to win it LOL). Doesn't Tribble kind of look like a young Brad Womack, and Maxim looks like a cross between Josh Duhamel and Johnny Knoxville haha.

I'm guessing Tribble will be part of the F2 since he gets a lot of air time... Can't predict the other guy yet. I feel like Adam gets a lot of air time as well. But it looks like Collin "professes" his feelings next week, even though he's been nonexistent since his date.

Just one thing bothers me about this show. The whole City vs Country drama is so lame. I don't see how her choosing someone that's "country" makes her any more southern and loyal to her roots or that only a country guy is good enough for her. And seriously... did they only cast douches from the city?

And this is probably an unpopular opinion but... the country guys came off as sh*t stirrers. They kept going on about how country guys should stick together and only country guys are good guys.

I agree with so much in your post! My problem is that none of the guys are interesting to me. And I completely agree that the city boys were a pretty weird bunch - especially if they truly were picking for her. The city vs country angle is beyond lame to me also. Yet, I still watched the episodes. I must be sick in the head.

^^ Glad I'm not the only one wachin4fun. LOL, I still keep on watching, so I guess that says a lot about me too.

I went through their twitters and youtube channels briefly. Hmm... I don't get a sense that Tribble or Maxim won. For one, they've hung out post show. Maxim has a youtube video of when Tribble, Cody, and Josh went to LA. If either one were the last guy standing... I don't think they would travel so much... at least in the open. And just the way they respond to "fans" on twitter... I wouldn't want a guy who has a girlfriend to reply in that manner.

And Devin tweeted she watched the upcoming episode and said it was a tear-jerker. I'm thinking Adam goes home? I know Collin supposedly confesses how he's falling in love with her, so his departure could also be very sad... but I felt like we still haven't gotten much air time from Collin for the audience to feel much for him. Or maybe I'm just grasping at straws since I want Collin to be the last guy. (I like Adam too, but I really don't see her picking him)

Who do you all think will be the "winner"?

I re-looked at some videos and still don't think I know Collin and only saw him once without his hat but hair was messed up from the cycle helmet. Adam is such a sweetie and she is so comfortable with him. We haven't seen enough of her with Collin to know if she is with him. There are still-shots of her time with Tribble that show she was into him and that he might be interested in her plus he has the sports background - she's interested in sports broadcasting. So it's any of those three (big help huh?). Jason Maxim would be a good choice for a Bachelorette that's more into traveling. I still think it's more refreshing than the Bachlelor and Bachelorette and hope those shows will take a hint.

She's definitely comfortable with Adam... that could also be a reason why he'll be eliminated. Sometimes I get a friend vibe from them. But he's such a sweetie, for me, he's probably the most "southern gentleman" of the bunch. In fact, I don't find Tribble all that "country" lol.

I'm going to guess and say the final guy is either Adam or Collin.

At first, I thought it'd be Tribble... but he's been really active on twitter (and other media networks) and been traveling a lot with the other contestants. It's not really f1 behavior...

I'm not even going to consider Maxim lol. He seems nice enough. Definitely think they over edited his "city" side about being very obnoxious. On the show it looked like the country guys hated Maxim. Lo and behold, the country guys were in LA and they hung out with him.

Adam has twitter but doesn't tweet nearly as much as Tribble and Maxim. And I don't think Collin has one. Which could probably mean nothing, or he's trying to abide his contract for being in the down low, or this all ended really badly for him.
