Sweet Home Alabama Season 1 ~ Discussion ~ Spoilers

This outtakes show is hilarious. I love Codyisms, cannot stop laughing.
And I love Collin, I would love Devin and Collin to have gotten back together. He really loved her, and was devastated to be sent home. Tribble is too cute on the outtakes too.

Now the update is on about Devin and Adam. After all those pictures with the blonde girl, I'll fall off my chair if Adam says the and Devin are a couple.

Can you give the update about their relationship. I am not able to watch it now.

OK, Love_Me. They are together on a sofa, not really close, and went to commercial, promo "Where are they now, are they together?". I'll come back and update after their interview.

Hmmmm... Kinda avoided the question. I'd have to say they are just friends.

Guess they are under contract til Tribble's season end. Weirdest interview ever. It ended with the illusion that they are still a couple but don't see each other much.

Observations:
1) They sat side by side, she had her arms folded in front of her. (space between them)
2) He had his folded hands on his crossed knee caps.
3) They never held hands or did anything romantic towards each other.

Their coments:
Devin: "It's hard to go from a reality tv relationship to full blown real life love. But so far, so good. But he won't like Alabama football and is a TN fan and if that keeps up, that's the reason we won't work out"
Adam: "Well, I'll never change being a TN fan"
Devin: "Yeah, playing hard to get again"

And other similar kinda snarky comments. He never commented on their relationship.

And that was bascially it. . No loving looks, and when they seemed nervous, they just laughed. He came across alot less humble than on the show. She seemed just the same as when on the show. They both smiled.

They ended it with Devin saying good luck to Tribble having 22 girls and all the cat fights, she couldn't do that and be in that house, it was tough enough with 20 guys in the house in her own season.

I repeat they NEVER touched in other in any way nor kissed. He never even put his arm around her.

Good recap Gina. The only touching was when Devin touched his arm while joking with him, but no reciprocating from him. He does seem less humble, and all the pics with the other girl make him appear less honorable then Devin and SHA portrayed him on the show. But then again we don't know what goes on with the two of them after the show.

They should do a show of just Cody LOL

This is super confusing. Everything I have seen posted on their Fan Facebook Pages says how glad they are Adam and Devin are still together. Then we have Adam's tweets and pictures that tell a different story.

I think it does have a lot to do with the contract their under. Which just seems silly they would make them carry on a charade if they are no longer together anymore.

Definitely hard to tell what's going on. I was quite sure at first they were no longer a couple and no chance to be one - but towards the end I had a sense that each is waiting for the other to take the relationship to the next level - they are unsure if the other person cares enough for a serious relationship and to be exclusive. Both gave some hints they do - they both agreed they have so much in common and never run out of things to talk about. And the clincher was when Adam said "look what I got" when he said he had no regrets about the show and he's not ready to say Roll Tide - yet. I wonder if there were some trust issues as they went back to their real lives - they weren't sure if the other wanted an exclusive relationhsip. It's as if both got hurt a bit -- they both went on so much with their own lives. Probably need to get a little drunk one night and say what they really think to each other - then they'll know where they stand. Not Dear Abby advice but sometimes a little alcohol gets the honesty out.

I also agree the show pushed the update and didn't want them to say they weren't together or that they had any doubts and they may be under contract for that the full year. The interviewer didn't dig below the surface at all. Will be interesting to see where Devin ends up next year - that will probably be the determining factor.
