If you look at the first few pages you will see I have been team Adam from the beginning. I missed the football date with tribble so I guess I missed the fireworks. Daughters birthday tonight, so going to miss the last show until it is replayed. I am counting on one of you to spoil me before I have to leave to the movies late Oregon time. I know you can do it.

I did not like Tribble since the whole issue with who could cook chicken incident. Which I thought was completely immature and a huge overaction on many of them.

^^ I'm not really team anyone (I feel like I don't know these guys at all. And none of their personalities really stand out), but I definitely prefer Adam out of the two. So don't worry, you're not the only ones.

That chicken incident... yeah... very immature. I don't know. To be honest, I'm probably going to get a lot of flack for saying this... but I don't think the Country boys came out looking really good in my eyes. The show definitely "edited" to make the country boys more appealing than the city boys (not that they're appealing either, since they're a lot more appealing people in the city than those over the top stereotypes they casted. Seriously, I don't know anyone from the city like those guys). I don't know... I felt like the country boys thought just because they were born and raised in the country they are entitled to the girl, they have better "manners", or someone who's "really" from the south would never enjoy living in the city even if they found someone to "enjoy" it with. And is it just me, or do they constantly bring up the Country vs. City drama. It's so lame! Get over it already (just like the stupid Chicken Incident)!

That being said I'm not defending the city guys or anything, since they were probably the most miscasted people I've seen on a dating show. And I understand this airs on CMT, so it would make sense to portray the people from the South in a good light. I'm guessing this show probably wouldn't have gone over as well on the main networks.

I agree that the whole city vs country thing is stupid! I don't remember where Adam is from (Tenn maybe?), but Collin & Tribble for instance are shown as being from Hoover & Mt Brook Alabama....while this isn't NYC or LA....it certainly isn't the country. Mt Brook residents are generally considered the most affluent, high-society crowd in Bham. I'd bet some of the 'city' boys were actually more 'country' than the southern guys & vice versa. Both extremely stereotyped & totally unnecessary IMHO

Anyone watching the finale tonight. I am hoping to find a live feed somewhere since we don't get CMT where I am.... :Frown:

I will be watching Big Brother but I'm going to watch the rerun at midnight. If I can find the feed I'll send it your way jury!
