The Bachelorette - Season 12 - Potential Lead - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

I buy that Becca is none of those guys' type but what I don't buy is that they all don't like her because of it. I haven't seen that from them before. The common denominator is that they're all friends of Jared. Maybe not proof but a good assumption in my eyes at least.

I can't honestly believe that any of these guys spend any time thinking about Becca these days, unless asked point blank. Then they'll give a bland and non-offensive answer. And move along to the potential sun bunnies of BIP3 that will come from Ben's reject pile.

She may be on the current show, but she's old news to these hounds. She won't be on BIP3, so why would they waste their time? These guys are looking for their next bikini-clad showmance, not the same dull chick they keep seeing at every possible event. She's played out.

This is my thinking as well. Just because someone is not your type, doesn't mean you dislike them. It just means you may not be sexually attracted to them. In fact, in real life, those are the type of guys that end up being my good friends. From BIP Jared made it seem as if Ashley I was not his type and yet they seem to be good friends post show. There is no reason...other than all these guys seem to be acting rather protectively of Jared...that the same would not apply to Becca.

Now, who feels there's no potential lead in Ben's group and wants someone completely new? As far as I can remember, all the B'ette are former contestants, correct?

If any one of my single friends was contacted by a guy for a date, then he didn't bother to get back to her, or cancel or whatever, I'm not going to like the guy and I will support my friend. I don't care how nice he seems to be, the bottom line, he wasn't nice enough to cancel the plans. I think Jared's friends had his back.

I feel Becca wanted to get on the season, whether it was Ben Jared or BenZ, she was going to get back on IMHO.

Am I the only one that feels she looks "old" compared to these young ones with a size zero body? She looks so out of place IMO.

She wasn't very convincing to me during premier night, I think she has lost some of her sweet sincere personality from CS season, it's more fake now IMHO. She would be so fake as the next lead.

Well, we have heard Caila, Amanda, JoJo, possibly Becca or even Jubilee. Here is the lastest ... probably getting buzz to promote her book ... or not.

Tenley did an interview with Us Weekly and in the rapid fire questions video (at 2:50) she threw out Caila's name as a maybe for who should be the next Bachelorette.

Wow, so that's two former leads who want Becca as the 'ette! Three, probably, as she most likely has Kaitlyn's vote too. What is her appeal? I don't get it. She might be able to pull it off. I have no idea anymore.

It's ok. You don't have to "gather" anything and won't be called out as I have come out multiple times on this forum to say I was the one who actually spoke to her camp directly and stated the above. So you won't get the blame or onus or angst. I had been dealing with them directly. I am not going to say who "them" is. And I implicitly believe that that was the truth --according to them.

This is my problem with this kind of information. Different sources have different truths. Sometimes good sources have been lied to. They tell us the truth, or rather what they think is the truth, but it is a lie. I guess I like to hear all the information and weigh it out for myself.

Not to bring it up, because I love Love_Me and Sanlee, but their sources were usually spot on/right.. except for Des's season. Somehow their sources were not credible that season. No hard feelings because it turned out to be a great season, but it does show that good sources can be lied to.
