The Bachelorette - Season 12 - Potential Lead - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

I think a Jubilee season would actually be very interesting. Right now, I think it'll most likely be Caila, which will be just another standard season of the Bachelorette. I guess if it ain't broke..

I am hoping for a season of Jubilee myself. It would be captivating.

JoJo's followers have been rising because Becca has been tagging her on both Twitter and Instagram. Just from that photo that Becca tagged her in on IG last night, she gained like 20,000 followers.

I totally agree. I did re-watch parts of the episode to see what everyone else was talking about and I did see that Caila pointed out that they weren't having a conversation but attacking Jubilee, which was really nice of her. Caila's comments about "I just feel so bad that he has to sit in that helicopter with her until it's over" still bothered me, though, so I do sense a secret mean girl in there. It also seems like she's going to be a cryer, judging from the promos, which I'm not a huge fan of. I like what I've seen of Amanda so far. I know she's not super popular here, but I did see a lot of support for her as the next Bachelorette on after buzz and SM.

I wish that other girls like Rachael, Jennifer, and Jackie had made it further because they seem nicer and more secure than some of our Bachelorette possibilities.

Jennifer would of been really good! She's pretty quit and chill though, so I'm not sure if her personality would do. Definite NO to Jackie though...

Aw, I liked Jackie! She's probably too sweet and normal to be the Bachelorette, but I thought she was so adorable and accomplished. She reminded me a bit of Catherine in personality. Good call on Jennifer. She is way too chill. She is probably going to be on BIP.

I don't know, I'm not really excited for anyone to be the Bachelorette this year. I'll probably end up skipping it, unless they really bring it with the hot guys.

I am with you on this! None of these girls are that amazing to me. Kinda "meh" about all of them for different reasons. I just don't see "it" with any of them, TBH. Anyway, it will be the same old same old no matter who is lead I think. If one of the three speculated to be are Bette it will be the men that will get me interested in watching :Nod:

As for Becca....really? That tweet trying to excuse herself is just silly. People shouldn't judge you, but it is fine for you to judge others? Do as I say, not as I do?

Apparently the most demure massage I have ever seen is enough to send Becca into Victorian virgin vapours. If it was so upsetting then WTH were you watching? Why not leave? Instead you sit close by just to keep an eye on everyone. You've been on this rodeo before so enough with the poor, overly edited, misunderstood Becca.   :strings1   Not buying it.

i still think Whitney would be a perfect B'ette, but happy that she met his BF outside of this crazy show.

Speaking only for myself: I don't mind Becca promoting her lipgloss that probably came from one of the Fabfitfun boxes shown on her IG. A shillers gotta shill.

I felt reminded of how young and inexperienced Becca is for her age when she literally seemed shocked to witness Jubilee touching Ben's back, through a shirt, and said something like "no one needs to see that".    She seemed genuinely shocked and uncomfortable with simple, clothed human touch.   She seemed so innocent and naïve. I felt for her that she actually came back on this show again when it's such a bad fit for her, IMO, and that she could imagine she's be a good Bachelorette, which is totally the reason I think she's there the more I see and is so not happening again IMO. 

Also I'M wondering if I missed something because while I agree Becca, Jojo, Amber and maybe others got shown in a more negative light as "mean girls", I noticed TPTB made a point to show Caila wasn't apart of the group wanting to confront Jubilee and actually spoke out against what those girls were doing.  Maybe I missed something earlier where she had a mean moment?  But personally last night I saw the Bachelorette edit totally pointing to Caila by them including that.

I re-watched that part of the show to better understand your perspective, keeping several facts in mind. Becca has lived in Southern California for seven years. She routinely spends time at the beach among people with far less clothing on engaging in far more physicality than shoulder rubbing. Becca herself seemed quite comfortable in a tiny bikini pressed up against Elan's side with her arms around him in pics on their IGs. Becca routinely spends a good bit of time in clubs and at events dressed in short/tight clothing pressed up against men for photo ops. Her huge smiles in these photos doesn't signal shock or discomfort with simple human touch. Based on her own words on SM, she is also comfortable joking about recreational drug use and *ahem* intimate relations. 

Becca led the way to check out Jubilee and Ben. She stayed positioned on a bench where she could continue watching them as well. Quite simply, Becca wasn't happy that another contestant was spending quality time comforting Ben. Becca is torn between playing the role of innocent virgin and her "obnoxious", fun loving, ready for the Bachelorette role vs. how she behaves in the real world. It results in tweets and other SM explanations that don't match up with her actions off-screen.  IMHO.

Maybe Amanda is also half some other ethnicity too....Anyone know her? I was looking at her instagram, her mom doesn't really look white to me?

Just a thought. Then the F2, F3, & F4 would all be equally diverse and therefore a definite "diverse" bachelorette.

I hope not. I am tired of them spouting diversity as long as their chosen "diverse" person looks like your typical WASP.

Yea I mean Claire is half Mexican and does not look it, so she could have been the first "diverse" bachelorette.

I'm not sure what Amanda's mom is though, so I could be wrong. TO me she looks a bit Latin maybe?
