I'm glad Nick is chilling in LA and modelling.  I feel like he's the type of guy who tried to do everything right.  Go to the nice college, get the nice job, meet a great girl, get married, have an amazing family.  I love how on both seasons he admitted that finding "that person" was the most important thing for him. It makes me sad that he hasn't found her yet and that he's been cheated on and constantly gets put down and laughed at by some of his exes.  I've never posted in his fan thread before, but since nobody in my real life cares to hear about any of this stuff I thought I would just go in here and rant a bit.  This book fiasco is making me so sad and angry and I don't even know this dude. I'm glad he looks great in his latest instagram and is surrounded by friends during all of this.  I hope his Mom doesn't even know the book exists. (Wishful thinking)

Great post and welcome! The book thing IMO only makes one person look terrible and it isn't Nick. During both seasons I think I let my self get too caught up in wanting him to be happy (which in that moment meant being chosen by the woman he was falling for) but I think in the end as upsetting as it was to watch both times as it was happening seeing what the real world versions of the two subjects of his then affection are, I think he was better off "losing" them to the "winner." I know I've joked previously about me being perfect for Nick but in all seriousness I do hope that the man I (hopefully) meet and marry in the future has similar qualities to the ones I admire in Nick including his love of family, intelligence, passion, and wit. He just gets it that you cannot please everyone and for the most part combats his detractors with kindness or humor instead of punching back. I'm sure his mom gives the book the proper eye roll and "whatever" it deserves.

Nick is the real winner IMO despite what he's been through because he's still happy and living his life. Great to see and a great role model for moving on and never holding grudges.
