Ok I'm going to throw out this persistent thought I've had while watching the 20th Special/Jade and Tanner's wedding. Actually this may even have already come up on the 20th Special Thread (sorry if it did, I haven't made it there yet).....

Nick was featured a LOT imo (cmiiw because I was pausing and rewinding every scene scanning for him lolembarrassing I know Embarassed

). So I have this nagging feeling, tptb already have him down as next Bach, IF no one from the next crop of guys is good enough. I mean they will prob go the route of a new guy but they may decide to forego the likely fairly young guys and go with Nick because he would make an excellent and compelling Bach and they know it. This is all provided he is still single then.

I'm a fan of Nick but I don't see him as a Bachelor. He's not garden variety. Nick is an acquired taste (those who meet him in person like him) He doesn't have a big enough fan base with the masses JMO

Exactly why I know he'd make a good season and why I think tptb would think he'd make a good season. I personally don't want him to be it—for him, but I'm pretty sure they know they'd have a good season if they had to pull him out of their back pocket. As for fan base, that would come when/if he was announced imo. Anyway, it is just something to speculate about if there aren't any viable candidates by the fall.

Stick a pin in me if he is the next bachelor. I know I would lose weight worrying if he finds his real love. I was also smiling when he was wiping a way a tear from his eyes during the service, that guysis ready for the right woman.
