The Bachelor 20 - Ben Higgins - Social Media - Vids - Media - *Sleuthing - Spoilers* - #2

I'm always interested to see the preseason sleuthing on the cast, but I never have a favourite until the season starts and I can actually see them in action. I can make predictions and think who I find the most attractive based on their pictures and what we have learned, but I can never really get into who will be my favourite because so much of that is about personality for me.

So far, this season, nobody is sticking out for me yet...not even Ben. He looks like he lost weight. Whatever they did to him and his hair, me no likey.

When do we usually get the bios of the girls?

I don't like Ben's hair at all.. At least he looks cute every where else though. :P I hope his hair isn't going to look like that all season. I also hope his mustache stubble grows back out as the episodes go on..

That's the vibe I get from her, that she knows how to wrap guys around her little finger. It's just fake to me. I saw a similar fakeness in Andi (though her fake persona was different) and she's done nothing since then except reinforce that first impression, so I'm not holding my breath when it comes to Caila. She's finessed that adorable princess loved by anyone routine by now, I'm sure. Oh well.

As for the looks discussion, I thought Lauren was the most classically beautiful with Caila being up there as the exotic beauty, so it's funny that Ben seems to share my taste.

Diana, the girls' bios are usually released around the first week of December. For some reason, I'm thinking it's usually a Thursday?

Boy feel like I started something. All I meant was I really did not recognize Caila in the promo. I would honestly rather have some seasons where the people really are like the folks next door. The cute girl/guy next door type. Honestly I think that would be refreshing. I was always taught beauty is on the inside. I want to see how these girls act, that will tell me so much more then how beautiful they are. My favs are still Chris/Payton as they seemed so down to earth.

I feel like a lot of the fan faves over the years, for both male and female, were actually not conventionally super-hot guys with 6-pack abs. Reid, Chris Lambton, JP, Ames, Nick, Jef, Arie, Zak, etc. They all look like real guys, who viewers fell in love with b/c of personality. Same with women - for example, leads like Ashley and Des have very active threads, but Emily, Britt, and Deanna don't. I think people tend to comment on looks when it's all we have to go on, but I don't think it really affects their popularity. Jmo.

For example i would never look twice at buff guys like Josh Murray or James Case, or Zack Kalter (or basically 80%of bachelor male cast) but i literally drooled when Arie first appeared on screen (and Ben H for that matter), and it wasn't because of his personality.

Good point...and good taste! I drooled when Arie and Ben H walked out the limo too! And, I never really got into Ben's personality (I think I like my guys to be a bit wittier and nerdier, like Reid and Nick), but he is definitely one of the most handsome men from the franchise to me. Even with his weight loss and bad haircut, haha.

He does look a bit skinnier to me, especially in his face and upper chest/shoulders area. I had heard that they had wanted him to lose weight before the Bachelor started filming.

He looks like his mom got him ready for the first day of school.

Lordy what did they do to him? He looks like a Ken doll in that promo pic. So much better looking in the pic from Kaitlyn's season. He was already a very attractive man. They didn't need to do anything for him.
