The Bachelor 20 - Ben Higgins - F1 to F4 - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

I think Ben will let his F2 go at the FRC.
If he does let her go before FRC then I will be very, very surprised.
TPTB want their money shot after all so I don't see that happening - especially after K's season.

I'm not the best Bach historian but do know we've had Bettes who were allowed to let F2 go before FRC. Has there ever been a Bachelor who let F2 go before FRC?

As far back as Brad Womack's first season, no. Kasha could probably answer back to Alex Michel. This season, with Ben saying that he's fallen in love with two women, it seems unlikely that he'd release one before the FRC, right?

Nope. Brad 1.0 chose no one, but both girls got humiliated at the FRC--it was a 2fer.  Two women at the FRC and no one released early.

I just feel like he's being given this edit as a sweet and sensitive guy, I feel like they'd let him be the first bachelor to do it in his own way.

I think MF loves the humiliation of the F2 getting dumped at the platform\alter and probably doesn't give a d**n about letting Ben do the sensitive thing.

Agreed. I think the women are able to sometimes convince them that f2 shouldn't get down on one knee. But since a female f2 isn't proposing, they get the Bachelor to wait until the last possible second to tell her she's not the one.

To their credit, most of the female f2s seem to have been able to shake it off pretty well.

i wonder why they allow some of the women to let the guys go early, but not vice versa?

^ IMO because MF has to change his underwear afterward from the glee of seeing an F2 woman get dumped, and depending on his mood, maybe based in part of who lead and F2 are, he has a momentary lapse of humanity and let's a fellow bro be spared getting down on one knee only to be rejected.

Because this show is run by "Ewww" type of men and they like to seem women humiliated as much as possible.
