Except could TPTB just switched it up because the word was out that Becca was getting a HT so they wanted to make the prediction (RS) wrong? Becca was going home at some point because clearly she was not F1 so maybe they thought proving a spoiler wrong by sending her home early was worth it. Plus they get the added drama of the shock on Becca's face when she is sent home.

I really don't feel like Amanda is gone yet based on all the SM that I've seen, and I've seen A LOT. BUT, I do hope that she is the one eliminated tonight.

The day I feel sorry for anyone choosing to be on this show and it's side effects, is the day I have nothing in my own life to ponder/worry/keep me occupied. Just me.

So tonight is the RC?

Me too. This show has been on for over 10 years and it's been long out there what can happen if you choose to be a part of it.

I find that RC nights are usually quiet on here. The RC itself goes into the wee hours of the night and unless one of the contestants pops up on SM immediately after, we wouldn't know who was eliminated until the day after. In this case, the one likely to be gone is already back on SM

Gah which totally annoys me because Amanda is the one keeping herself from her kids, not Ben. Yet Ben is going to be the one bashed if she's the F2 as if he's some horrible guy. I can hear it at the ATFR already, "Why didn't you let me go sooner????"

I agree.....it makes me so angry also. It was HER CHOICE to leave her kids.

Yes, but that doesn't mean I don't pity him for the possible results of his dumb decision.

There is also the possibility that Amanda knows what's up. If Ben has been so obvious with Lauren she may know she is not final one and just be playing along with options of going to Paradise for vacation or they have talked with her about being Bachlorette.

The bolded: I believe that is how they got the other three to stay. The thought of being the bachelorette is a pretty big incentive to cooperate with TPTB.

I think being on TV and any possible other opportunities that arise from being on as long as possible on TV (and thus more airtime and more recognition with the public) is what keeps these contestants around.

Bottom line, IMO, is the same reason most contestants go on the show is why they stay on the show: fame/opportunities. :Nod:
