Sash has got such a great sense of humour. In case you don't know what 'kick's are, it's shoes; and 'trackies' are tracksuit pants, and 'thongs' are flip-flops

^ He is funny. I can just see him in his daggy clothes rather than all suited up. As a non-American I know Aussie slang well (have lots of Aussie relatives) so I forget that these are not well-known terms.I think a lot of the posters in the International section are non-American? At least from my experience. But not all Aussies so good to have more and info on the terms as well from Aussies!!

Thanks for telling us what some of the sayings are. As Canadians I guess we have some sayings that most people from other countries don't what they mean either.

Love it @Brill. I didn't know you were Canadian. I don't know many Canadian terms but every Canadian I meet is so nice and friendly and my hubby has family in Canada who are just lovely. I loved Bach Can and hope for another one sometime too.

I love how there are so many that enjoy this show in its different formats around the world. It's great to have a common interest and learn different things.

Awwwwwwwwww, thank you for saying such nice things about us Canucks. While I'm sure there are some yahoo's out there that aren't polite, over all I think most of us are pleasant.
There are quite a few of us on this board. I hope we have another Bachelor Canada soon or wouldn't mind a bachelorette season. We've never had one so it would be great to see.

SAM Frost and Sasha Mielczarek were among this year’s hottest celebrity couples to descend upon The Birdcage at Flemington Racecourse today.

The Bachelorette and her beau caused plenty of commotion as photographers scuffled to get shots of the pair, who did the rounds through various marquees, marking their first official outing as a couple.

Speaking to news.com.au in the Myer marquee, both admitted the madness hadn’t died down just yet, but said “it is what it is and we’re just happy to be together.”

“We’re just enjoying being out in public,” the 30-year-old construction manager said, adding that he’s relieved he doesn’t have to refer to his girlfriend as “old mate” anymore.

Similarly, Frost was thrilled she no longer had to use the code name “Roger” when talking about her chosen man in public. The 26-year-old reality TV star admitted she’s a terrible liar and almost gave it away numerous times over the past five months.

The doting boyfriend said he couldn’t be more proud of Frost’s new gig, fronting Sydney’s new brekkie radio show alongside Rove McManus, and promised he’ll be tuning in every morning.

“It’s been her lifelong dream to be on radio, especially with Rove ... it’s going to be amazing, he’ll look after Sam,” Mielczarek said.

The couple said they’re looking forward to spending time with fellow Bachelor lovebirds, Sam Wood and Snezana Markoski, who are also at Flemington today.

“We’re looking forward to hanging out with them,” Frost said. “I think that it’s a very unique situation that we’re in and to know that there’s someone in the world in a similar situation with our experiences is very, very comforting.”
