The co-worker didn't say anything about her boyfriend situation, just that she really wanted to meet Ben and that she's a sweet girl. You can be sweet to your friends and co-workers and still do questionable things in your dating life. I guess she wasn't that in love with the boyfriend, since she was able to dump him just like that, but it does say something about her character in general that she's able to go behind a significant other's back to apply and then dump them to be on TV. I for one can't overlook something like that. What if she didn't get on the show, would she still be with him?

It will be interesting see how her father if is Ben, if he's sad about losing a future son-in-law because of him.

IF this source is accurate, that could definitely hurt her HTD. Whether she broke up with this guy in July, August, whenever, she wasn't in love with him so no sense in getting married.

IMO from what i've observed watching her in social situations and heard from acquaintances she's in love w/love and romance. I'm hooked now and have done some sleuthing myself. Her dad's facebook shows a wedding in mid-july, ben h gets eliminated from 'ette shortly after the wedding, next day (best as i can tell) the media starts talking about ben h being the next bachelor (found on amazon news around july 14 post or someplace like that), she breaks up w/boyfriend shortly after that and jumps all in to the bachelor. this could be cute because she's crushed on ben h, but i think it's kind of pathetic and really immature. no way she only started talking to the show in August imo. If she's as smart as everyone thinks she was planning this for a while.

Did Caila break up with her BF because he was Mormon and he and his family wanted her to convert?

I dont know abt the bf's family or the religion question. Not sure what that has to do anything. lots of people date/marry outside their religion.

Caila's situation could be a somewhat like Catherine's.  She was dating someone when she was in the interview process for the show.  That person was not right for her and she quickly broke up with him.   Catherine's bachelor process went well for both her and Sean obviously  and she said that she only accepted because it was Sean.  I am excited that we have an interesting young woman from Northeast Ohio on the show and I hope this is a great experience for her!  She says she is interested in Ben, I hope he falls in love with her.  I am going to wait and see as the show progresses, to determine who I think F1 will be.  I would not say either that Caila went behind the boyfriends back.  One thing good about this show is that he will have plenty of time to process this breakup before it airs, if indeed it was a hard break up for him.

^Only difference is that Cat broke up with the guy 11 months before she was on the show so she was quite single as she spent almost the next year going through the casting process. It wasn't that she broke up with the guy to go on the show. In fact, when she told the bf that her friend applied for her he told her to do it so technically the bf broke up with her.

I have no idea what the straight story is with Caila's ex. But if he's anything like some of the past exes we will find out once he goes to the tabloids to sell his story.

Exactly.

I'm hearing three different stories/reports, so I don't know which one is true/the most accurate, or if they're all true to an extent/or not true at all. With all that being said, I'm gonna take all the info in...BUT with a grain of salt. There's too much being thrown at me in a little amount of time. Lol

Whatever the situation may be, I'm sure she's talked about it with Ben at this point. Whether what she told him was the truth, who knows. Ben felt it was a good idea to go and meet her family. I am going to reserve judgment on this ex situation for now.
