Yes the shenanigans by Jordan, Mike Puru & the producers are very laughable.

Just saw this about comment made by John Key the NZ prime minister about the bachelor...I am seriously laugh out loud

As to watching The Bachelor, well, that’s more Bronagh's domain, Key laughed, who said he has no time to watch one Kiwi man and his harem on TV each week.
“I don’t even know the dude’s name but I’ve seen his billboard out there and he looks a thoroughly charming young man and I’m sure he’s swooping the young ladies off their feet.”

Seems like even the PM is not interested in Jordan as the bachelor. He watched Art last year and was even on radio saying he picked Matilda for the winner.

Yes the shenanigans are too funny. Why has Jordan done zero radio interviews? question
- The Cafe - controlled by the show.
- ATFR/WTA special - still controlled by the show even if live.

Where's the interviews? Does the show not want the audience to hear from Jordan? It's not like he can be less liked by doing media... I think it could only be positive for him?

I dunno... I said it at the beginning and now more than half-way I still think this season is odd. scratch

is it possible that Jordan picks noone?
or is it possible that they broke already?

and that is why he makes no radio?

weird, I cannot picture any of those possibilities

Those are for me the F3.

when a bachelor says that he as butterflies, very often the girl is F1. I am surprised he used it for Naz. But lately I saw him chasing her.

it could be nice to list words used by him for each girls and make some comparison.

and if we use the drawing... Storm could be F1, Naz F2 and Fleur F3

I found interesting the last RC: Storm, Fleur and last Naz. Means probably nothing but this tickled me.

That's who I now have as F3 as well. Before Rebecca left I would have had her there instead of Naz.

So after Tuesday - Fleur F1 and Storm F2 (that hasn't changed) and Naz F3.

Let's see. I was totally wrong about Rebecca so it's probably Gabs F1, Erin F2 and Kate F3!

I wonder if those pics by Scout of Naz were from NZ or somewhere else (so not Hawaii) @Katiebelle? Back then we thought the pics indicated she was in the F3 so it is still possible that Jordan wore his same singlet if those pics are yet to be seen since they weren't shown yet?

question

@Katiebelle I have no clue right now. I see the same attraction from Jordan for each the women he kissed... except Naz, Fleur and Storm

he used: gutted if storm would have left
he used: butterflies about Naz
he used: she is coping with everything, she is a lot of fun (but I think he used special or natural right? in another episode?)

Last episode was all about Naz, Gab and Ceri. Fleur and Storm were very comfortable even if they did not spend time (not aired anyway) with jordan.

The speed dating kissing girls does not suit Jordan and this is why IMO we are all cringing or just shaking heads about who he is truly attracted

Some more interviews that Jordan did IMO post filming for Women's Day. I posted them in the No discussion thread as well for reference.

The Bachelor reveals his dreams of being a dad
Women's NZ, March 21st

http://www.womensweekly.co.nz/latest/celebrity/the-bachelor-reveals-his-dreams-of-being-a-dad-18575

There’s far more to gorgeous Jordan Mauger than meets the eye.

Stepping out of Art Green’s mighty shadow is no mean feat (who could forget those muscles?), but the new star of The Bachelor New Zealand is taking it all in his stride as he begins his search for love.

With his piercing blue eyes and mischevious grin, Jordan Mauger (32) is easy on the eye, but that’s not all. He’s also a well-travelled film buff, family man and all-round Kiwi bloke.

Call him modest, but the Christchurch-based farm boy says he doesn’t feel like the perfect package. Twenty-three women had the chance to vie for his affections, and one of them could be the woman Jordan says he’s looking for, to share in his life and possibly start a family with.

Who will it be? The Weekly sat down with the newest bachelor to find out what makes him tick.

What did you want to do with your life when you were a kid?
When I was younger, I wanted to be an archaeologist – basically I wanted to be Indiana Jones. Well, it was a bit of a fusion of Mr Bean and Indiana Jones. I wanted to be funny and have a cool whip at the same time.

Tell us about your mum – how is she coping with her oldest boy kissing 23 women on national TV?
My mum always told me “loose lips sink ships”, and I very much want to stay afloat. As for my grandmothers, they are both still trying to get their head around just how many women there are!

Do you want to have a big family one day? How do you picture your life as a dad?
Yes, absolutely. I love being an uncle and would want kids someday, but don’t want to catapult myself into that right now. I never want to struggle into parenthood and I’d love to get a few things more established before I do. I’m a bit of a big kid myself.

What’s the one thing a woman could do to win your heart?
It wouldn’t just be one thing, it’d be one quality – an indescribable type of quality that keeps her from ever leaving your thoughts.

What about unattractive qualities that might put you off someone?
Being unfaithful, uncharitable and anti-social.

What’s your go-to date night meal to cook a girl? And if she’s cooking for you, what should she make?
Mince on toast. If she can put up with that, then she’s a keeper. That goes both ways – great minds think alike.

Women's Day NZ Apr 7, 2016
(pictures included in link, interesting that link of his video with Storm during Episode 11 is included in the picture slide)

http://www.womansday.co.nz/celebrity/new-zealand-celebrities/jordans-hawaii-six-pack-4421

We’ve seen him in his suit, his stubbies and his sports gear – and now we get to see Jordan Mauger in the flesh! Indeed, if you had any doubts the thoughtful, funny and down-to-earth star of The Bachelor New Zealand is the full package, his bulging biceps and rippling abs should have you sold.

This week, the 32-year-old film director’s quest for true love took a sunny turn as he and 14 lucky Bachelorettes jetted off to Hawaii. But when we speak to Jordan, he insists his island getaway isn’t just a holiday to top up his tan (although, we must say, we don’t mind the view!). “I’ve been excited about getting some sand between my toes,” tells Jordan, “but this trip is really important to me. Travel is such a big part of who I am and I feel lucky to be able to share that passion with such a beautiful bunch of women. Seeing the girls adjust to a new environment and enjoy the experience is something I find very attractive.”

Though you wouldn’t know it to look at him, incredibly, the hunky star of the TV3 show has dropped 25kg in the last 10 months, a feat Jordan puts down to simply “cutting out a few pies here and there”. He says, “I wouldn’t call myself a gym bunny by any means – I just really wanted to explore a body transformation. Seeing an actor like Christian Bale go from overweight to skinny, to muscly is something I find very fascinating, so I thought, ‘Why not give it a crack?’”

But now Jordan has an even bigger challenge on his hands – deciding which hopeful Bachelorette will receive his final rose. Speaking of the process, Jordan calls it “intense, overwhelming and emotional”. And even with a bevy of beautiful women vying for his affection, he insists it’s a “lonely” ordeal.

He explains, “After a date or cocktail party, I come back to my room and I’m on lockdown. My trick is to keep a journal, which I jot everything down in – my dates, someone I had a good rapport with or something one of the girls may have mentioned.

“After a great date, you have to respect the time you spend with the next person by shelving that last memory, so you can be present. I write things down and revisit them in my own time.”

So what’s in his little black book about so-called villain Naz? Out of respect for the girls, Jordan won’t divulge on his connections so far, only saying, “I do understand that it can be very intense and everyone has their coping mechanisms.

“Some people doubt themselves, some get competitive and some get intimidating, because it is a very intimidating situation. It is a strange world we are in, so I would expect people to act strangely. “What is seen and experienced by a viewer is only a slice of the bigger pie. There are a lot of things I hear that I don’t take on. I want to experience everyone for who they are.” Smiling, Jordan concludes, “That’s why I rely on the girls coming forward. That one-on-one time is so crucial. Otherwise, I’m just guessing where they’re at.”
