Amanda Stanton - Bachelor 20 - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

Lots of us are born blonde and get darker as we get older. Pregnancy can also change hair texture, so maybe color too. I don't find her all that beautiful, but then again the over processed hair and young single mom bit gives me too many Emily flashbacks. JMO.

She definitely looks like a blonde version of Andi.

I'm thinking she'll be our new Bachelorette but I could be wrong.

The hair is bad, but facially, she's really pretty. She does seem a bit like Emily in personality, as CH said she was sweet and demure. I'm very grateful she tells Ben about her past in a respectful way and doesn't pull a Julia. I think it'll be between her and Joelle for lead.

She maybe sweet as pie, but I hope she is not the bachelorette. Juelia killed any interest I had left in single parents on this show on BiP. Go be a mom and stay off my tv please. JMO.

The more I see and read of her, the more I think I'll like her. Which sucks, because I want her to be with her adorable kids, not date a bunch of famewhores on TV.

Agreed on the hair though. I like long hair, but her ends look awful in that pic at least. Bleaching is not the way to go, if you want your hair to stay healthy.

That's exactly how I feel. I want to hate her on principle, but she actually seems sweet, well-liked, forgiving,  and not someone who will play up her "victim" act to win or get ahead.

I can't really tell much about these people from their bios. It might be that I actually thought Emily, Nikki, and Andi all looked great on paper and turned out to be three completely unlikable people to me in real life. Even realizing now how edit pushed us to hate Britt and love Kaitlyn, I just am not going to decide until I see them in motion and try to see around the edit.

And it may not be fair, but I do judge the single parent leaving not one but two children more harshly. Plus and this is my personal pet peeve, it's called birth control. I just have gotten to the point of not having patience for those who don't practice birth control. Your choice to have unprotected sex doesn't make you a hero or worthy of my empathy or pity. I know that is harsh, so feel free to hate me. I have just run into this I have a child life is harder for me crap too much in real life lately.

I'm pretty sure her kids were planned. Or at least the second one was. Did she marry the ex before or after the first child?

From the POV of a woman who was a single parent from the time my kids were 1 and 2 and 1\2 (divorced, ex totally uninterested in parenting) When you take on the awesome responsibility to be a parent, adjustments have to be made, you just don't get to be the care free 20 something that other single, non parent twenty somethings can. For me, old fashioned dating (like going out to dinner or a movie) was tricky enough to navigate. I cannot fathom leaving my children to pursue "love' on a reality show.

And agree re birth control. My daughter is now 21- I started drilling into her head the need to always practice safe and protected sex long before she was sexually active. Even told her I would buy the condoms myself if necessary- a small price to pay in my mind to avoid the life altering consequences of an unplanned pregnancy and becoming a parent at a very young age.

As nice as Amanda may be she needs to be nice to her young babies and stay with them and away from this show. JMO
