I think she's said some catty things too, but in general, I don't buy her as this big, bad villain. She just comes off as socially awkward to me. Like, it felt like she was just trying to be part of the conversation when she mentioned the "teen mom" thing; she apologized as soon as she was told it was offensive. I really didn't buy Emily's breakdown about Olivia being a bully unless there are things that Olivia said that aren't being shown).

As much as Olivia is getting painted as the villain, why are we not being shown how terrible she is to the others, as Emily claims? Yes, we saw her "Teen Mom" comment - but I actually thought she meant the situation Amanda was talking about was like an episode she saw. Maybe there was a story on that show in which a father wasn't spending much time with his child. But Olivia may not have explained it right. I could be wrong, but that is how I saw it. And the other girls are quick to jump to the negative conclusion about her. I've just been in that situation myself, where people assumed I meant something negative, and I didn't.

Olivia is kind of goofy, maybe even nerdy. And she got the FIR, which put a target on her back. She's the enemy, and the others have her in their sites. Not to mention that there is a chance Emily was put up to putting on a show with Ben about how awful Olivia is.

Yeah, I was also wondering about some of the things the other girls said. Emily claimed she was bullying all of them and Amanda said she'd been targeted by Olivia since night one. Considering how hard they're trying to make Olivia the villain, you'd think they would've shown us more of her "bullying". Unless she's doing it all off camera somehow, I think they were exaggerating.

I also totally get where she was coming from with that Teen Mom comment. Amanda was talking about her ex picking the girls up from her mom and not spending much time with them. The deadbeat dad, her mom being involved, her voice... I can see what caused that association in Olivia's head in that moment. Not a good idea to voice it of course, but it didn't seem like she meant to insult Amanda. She is just super awkward socially.

I agree with her social awkwardness and I'm not convinced she's that awful of a person either. She seemed genuine in the conversation after her Teen Mom comment when she said to the others that she was sorry and was really trying. She just seems to want to fit it and they are not having it.

I actually feel really badly for her with the media backlash, even though I know these girls know what they are getting into when they sign that dotted line. It must be a nightmare for her right now, especially with the bad breath comments. Ashley I. had a bad edit but was able to turn her image around somewhat by showing her true self in interviews etc. where people really liked her. I don't know that Olivia will be able to do that easily.

Has Olivia done any interviews post show or will those only occur once she has been eliminated from the show?

I don't think she's done any interviews, but she revealed a bit to Sharleen and in her own blog.

Nick was also on afterbuzz and he said that he heard from his producer friends that Olivia stuck her foot in her mouth a lot. That's the vibe I'm getting too - she just always says the wrong thing at the wrong time, but it's usually not said with intent to hurt. Combined with a assertive and confident personality, that's not going to work well on this show.

I don't really feel bad for her anymore, she's annoying. Her personality makes her less pretty imo.

It just rubbed me the wrong way from the start, with Amanda & Lauren gossiping about Olivia's expensive wardrobe and Olivia being the only one they can't connect with (it was early days still) and then honest to goodness labeling her the "mean girl."  I don't think Olivia is blameless in all this. I honestly can't believe she went in so naive. And some of what she says is so deluded. But I find it very rich of this show to call out a "bully" while relishing in bullying the said bully.

She just said and did so many things that are so dumb, and like how could she possibly have thought that would give her a good edit....

This show is exaggerating Olivia "the bully". She's embarrassing. Hardly a "bully"

Since it feels more like a schtick now, Olivia's actions, ITMs, and interactions aren't as funny as early weeks. I do laugh now at how far Ben tries to move away from her even when his words are saying something different.

He's an easy read. He also has a mess on his hands next episode, it appears.
