I definitely sensed a whole lot of sarcasm from Cupcakes answer. Of course about the texting, but even maybe about becca getting his humor.

I don't know if he was joking about Becca not getting Ben's humor. But I definitely felt sarcasm in his first ask. From the: talking to Ben, to the unlovable in quotations, to the "ill take one of that too". It all felt very dry humor.

I am wondering though, maybe because Ben has been given those priviledges(if in fact that is true to begin with) maybe this is all a foiler campaign in the matter that they(producers) are able to use this method to get out there what they want the general public to know??

I hope Ben doesn't text Chris seeking assistance to pick his F1!

I find this hard to believe. Since when does a lead have the privilege to text / contact a friend on a regular basis while on the show. TPTB do not want anyone to influence their lead which may ultimately screw up their storyboard. IMO Chris was joking, we didn't see or hear him say that, he could have been laughing at that question about reading spoilers, and says he doesn't have to etc....meaning he doesn't need to read spoilers, he knows what kind of girl Ben needs and is looking for.

JMO, I think it could all be part of a foiler masterminded by TPTB. It is just too easy, all these across the board, these anti Becca and Ben. I can't believe any of it now and want to see for myself come January.

I tend to agree in that this just may be part of a spoiler/foiler action or spoof of sorts and for me, I am going to wait to see how Ben and Becca connect before I make up my mind.

I agree, I think Chris is taking a fun jab at Ben and not Becca.  Ben and Chris joke with each other all the time and it just doesn't seem like Chris's character to take a jab at Becca.

Well if Chris isn't really talking to Ben, he has no way of knowing how they are getting on. I can see it being a jab at Ben but also just Chris basing it off of tv!Becca.

I think Becca has a sense of humor, it's just a dry humor...which sometimes people tend not to get.
Kaitlyn's Shawn has a very dry sense of humor too. It's not for everyone.
