For all she knows, Jared would have adored her and treated her so well and been everything she was looking for. In fact, Jared already treated her better... because he isn't the one who hinted he wasn't interested. I have a feeling she will regret not dating Jared whenever Ben dumps her and she's heartbroken. (IMO)

She REALLY like him from what she had heard, saw, and from talking to him briefly when they first communicated. She saw this as a chance to meet a great guy that could potentially have a long-term relationship with. By no means is she in love or falling in love with him, but she just didn't want to have the regret of not exploring a relationship with him.

That's all great but she shouldn't have wasted Jared's time and she should have listened to Ben when he discouraged her to come on. Not just for her own sake but for the position it would put him in. I'm sure Becca is a great girl but this situation paints her in an immature, wishy-washy light.

For those who believe Ben told Becca not to come on the show, when exactly would he have told her that?

He found out he was TB for sure mid August. Lets say TPTB tells Ben that there are several former contestant that have expressed their desire coming back. It's 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.Becca.  Which one would you want. He's not interested in any of them but has to choose one. He says Becca. Does he go behind TPTB's back and calls Becca to tell her not to come on the show?

Or, he finds out he's TB and TPTB tells him Becca is coming on the show. 1. why would they tell him if they apparently like the surprise. 2. They tell him Becca is coming on the show, out of the goodness of their heart, just because they are nice people. Ben goes behind TPTB's back and calls Becca and tells her not to come on the show?

Becca decides to go on the show, signs a contract, then tells Ben she's coming, and he tells her don't come as if he has any say?

Or Becca and Ben are talking before he know's he's TB and tells her not to go on the show which wouldn't make sense if she decided only after he was announced.

IMO Ben was strung along for a long time before he signed on the dotted line. I can't see him breaking any rules what so ever, and that includes contacting a contestant to tell her not to come on the show, as if he has any pull over TPTB. The speculation of the lead telling a contestant not to come on the show, IMO is very unrealistic. JMHO

I don't know, to me it's pretty simple. Ben's heard all the same rumors that we have and knew from Shawn/Kaitlyn that Becca had a thing for him. He could have made a simple phone/text/DM/whatever saying "hey, I know you were thinking about returning and I just want you to consider that it might be unfair to the other girls and could make you look bad" (like RJ said). I don't think it matters whether that happened in mid-August or early September. There are a bunch of rules that leads don't follow. I doubt TPTB approved Ben's flirting with Tenley and Cassandra while he was in negotiations, either.

I also think Ben's known he was going to be the Bachelor WAY before August. From what I heard, the holdup was just because of a few things Ben felt uncomfortable with and was negotiation. I think he knew at MTA that he was their first choice and if he wanted it, the gig was his.

I don't think Ben would ever jeopardize his contract by telling anyone what to do. He was free to flirt with whom ever he chose to until that contract was signed which wasn't that long before it was announced on BIP. Up until then, he was not TB was free to do whatever he wanted and was strung along until the end while knowing there was another contender.

From what I know, there was very little negotiating, so I'm not sure where that info came from.

I totally agree with GA. Something is not adding up at all!  

I am sorry, but I am so skeptical of what I am hearing and it is not a reflection of the sources and it is not personal.

I just have to use my brain and my brain tells me that if I personally was close to Becca I would never want to even allude to the idea that Ben never wanted returnees which would automatically mean he didn't want Becca. That is painting a negative light on Becca, IMO, if it is even thought that Ben never wanted her at all. I don't see what the purpose behind this would be?

Even if it were true, I guess for me, I would never even corroborate this at all. I certainly would never allude to her never being F1 either. In fact, I would say the opposite and pretend Ben did want Becca so as to never let Becca be seen in an even more negative light, which, based on what has been speculated, has painted Becca in a very negative light even more so than before. It makes no sense.

It's why I am questioning everything right now after last season of the planned foiler. And it was carefully planned well in advance and would have worked if not for snapchat at least with RS (sleuthers were on to it on here). But something is amiss already, including the filming locations and that RS and RJ are saying similar things regarding Becca and this info coming from production/crew?  

Well my foiler glasses are firmly on and while I don't expect Becca to be F1 all I can say is "Hi, production and crew. I seeeee you"  

I want to like this 1000 times!!! I see this too but I was having a hard time articulating it!!

Honestly, I get this feeling that production/crew will be just laughing away at me if I just buy into the "Ben didn't want Becca and she will never be F1" theory.

The whole thing feels so "producer planted" to me.  

Doesn't mean Becca will be F1 but I know for me, personally, if I had a friend on the show, I would be posting that Ben was so into her and begging her to come on and that I think she may win!!  

Anything other than that? Makes zero sense, IMHO.

Hello Bachelor production and crew..... I have to give you credit for hiding contestants and locations better this season. Good for you. :Nod: That said, I wouldlike to see more romance, less drama, and better locations please! I realize it is too late for requests for this season, but beginning with the next B'ette would be great. I for one (but am fairly sure I am not the only one) are getting tired of the same old, same old. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

Since speculation and possible foiler detection is where it is at, how's this for crazy speculation:
What if... just what if Ben wanted Becca on the show?  

I mean, Shawn was his buddy and Becca was Kaitlyn's buddy. Hard not to have some talk before if either was interested. And what if TPTB had planned for Becca to come on and made sure to leave no trace between Becca and Ben and got advice from Kaitlyn on that? Because, after all, K had a huge SM trace between her and Nick and so Becca (and Ben) would have some inside info on how to not go about it that way and show they had NO contact whatsoever between them preshow? Because there is none (which is interesting since Becca could have met him at Men Tell All)...

So what does TPTB do when maybe Ben the lead wanted Becca on the show but if that came out that the lead wanted someone just imagine?!! People would lose their minds! And it would be Ben's image that would be tarnished, since it wouldn't seem fair for him to be Bachelor and yet be interested in someone pre-show. After all, that's what happened with K and it was always said that if K was really interested in Nick she wouldn't do the gig and that same thought is if Ben was really interested in Becca he wouldn't do the gig. But what if they wanted to do the gig and have their story captured (thinking crazy here of course)?

So how to make Becca get on the show but make it seem like Ben was NOT in on it? (so opposite of Kaitlyn with Nick):

1. Have Becca publicly reach out to producers so sleuthers can see around the time lead was announced. Becca has producer friends from the show and could text them or call them. No need to do so publicly and STILL keep the tweets up (not deleted).
2. Media talk about Tenley instead of Becca and focus on her with Ben and so misdirection away from Becca so have Tenley as the smokescreen for returnees and Us Weekly have an article about Tenley and her possibly being a returnee. And honestly, if there WAS someone that Ben didn't want it would be Tenley and there was evidence they had met so this would be seen for sure that Ben wasn't into her since he chose the gig.
3. Make sure there is more than 1 returnee (so have Amber as well) so that the returnee stigma is spread out and focus is not solely on Becca and also make sure returnees are there night one so even playing field already.
4. The weekend before filming starts have Becca at a BachNation event away from LA (in Vegas) and with another F2 (photographed) which seems like such a production move to make it seem she is not going on the show. How convenient that TPTB had Becca out and about with Bachnation the weekend before being on the show? Sounds like what they tried to do with K&S post-snapchat.
5. Make it seem like it was a last minute thing that Becca was going on the show and even make it seem like she was interested in someone else (Jared what-have-you in on it too) and that Becca only knew for a little bit.
6. Downplay Becca and have it said that Becca will never be F1 and Ben didn't want returnees (didn't want Becca).
7. Make sure this forum is part of the foiler (Becca herself on this forum pre-filming and again, this forum was onto the foiler for K's when RS wasn't).

JMHO and this is just looking at it from another angle. Because to me, it doesn't add up at all what has been speculated. Doesn't mean Becca will be F1 but with the filming locations already seeming to be different from what is being fed to RS and after last season where the foiler was perfect save for snapchat (and this forum's sleuthers) I am looking at this from ALL angles.  


Sorry for the long post... it has just been bugging me and had to get it out.

Different strokes for different folks, but the above is what doesn't add up for me. This is a reality show, not some confidential double-agent CIA mission impossible. Why would TPTB invest so much time and energy and crazy plotting just to see if Ben and Becca have a spark? Why would Ben and Becca not just meet outside of the show and spare themselves this painstaking experience? Why would Ben do this to the other women? What guarantees that he wouldn't like one of the other contestants more than Becca? Sometimes the answer is simpler than we want it to be
