No, that's when they talked about her going on the show. The first time I know that they talked was in early August, but it was just an introduction. Ben told Becca himself. Other contestants might have hinted to her too, but I can't confirm that.

Kaitlyn definitely talked to producers about Becca returning. She can deny it, but it's the truth. She put in some work. I have e-mails and other information that support that. I heard that Kaitlyn/Shawn asked Ben about his thoughts on Becca. I'm pretty sure that happened, but I can't confirm that. Ben and Becca talked a few times. I received e-mails saying that Ben "didn't think it would be the best idea for Becca to be on the show." Don't know to what degree he emphasized his thoughts. She REALLY wanted to meet him.

Does her family know he told her not to waste her breath?
His reaction? I'm not sure. But Becca repeatedly said that she wanted to see if something could happen between the two of them.

I answered a few of these in a previous post. The one's I haven't:
2.) He's no dummy, he knew the rumors were out there (same with Tenley and Britt), but Becca got in contact with him.
3.) I don't know how persistent he was. He just didn't want people returning.
5.) Ben and Jared are friends. They talk. Plus he heard from others what happened. He was baffled by the situation. No clue if he discussed that with Becca.

My responses in 3 and 5 are big reasons why I've been saying I've been told that Becca wasn't going to be F1.

When I said "Other contestants might have hinted to her too, but I can't confirm that," I was referring to the possibility other contestants that know Ben hinting to Becca that her return wouldn't be a good idea.

It's surprising Becca is pursuing Ben despite all of this. RJ, did Becca feel confident she and Ben would hit it off?

I can totally see Kaitlyn trying to be a matchmaker between the two. I forget which Ben it was, but I remember someone asking them about it on Periscope if Becca would be interested in him (back during MTA weekend) and Kaitlyn was so excited about the possibility. I think Kaitlyn just really wants Becca to find love.

I am really surprised that Ben AND other contestants implied to Becca that she shouldn't go on and she still did. Hey, she stayed there a lot longer than a lot of us expected so maybe Ben changed his mind. Maybe he was like "oh, these are the girls they got for me? maybe I'll just stick with Becca."

Yes. Very confident. But there's a big difference. He's ready to settle down, get married, and have a family. Becca isn't there yet. That's not a bad thing, though.

I feel like there had to be some kind of incentive for Becca to still go on because IMO no one in their right mind would still go on after being asked by the lead not to. She had to feel 2 feet tall hopping out of the limo for a man that told her he doesn't want her. I'm sure if her family didn't know this information before, they will soon and won't be too happy.

This is bizarre. I wonder if Becca and her family are okay with info that paints a negative light upon Becca... since they are such a private family it seems odd. It seems this info that Ben didn't want Becca would be more trying in itself than just her on the show? I don't see why this would be something they'd want people to know if one is close to her? I just don't see her friends and family who are close to her saying "Ben doesn't want Becca" even if it is true. Seems odd


Obviously we are all able to choose to believe what we want but my skeptical hat is on.  :Nod:

I will keep all eyes open... especially for foilers and aware that any information that is coming from producers or film crew with access to any emails may or may not be part of a plan where even the sleuthing here is attempted to be foiled along with RS. TPTB went out of their way last season to foil RS and it worked on RS (RS has Kaitlyn to thank that he was able to "change" his mind) but the sleuthing here was already on track that Shawn was likely F1 and SHV sluethed, etc., and the sleuthers were the ones not getting foiled.  

So with that in mind, who knows... I think that while some info may be correct because it can be corroborated and proven to be so (that Becca had a date for example and was on the show), other info could be planted. So until then... I will do what this forum is best at... look at all the angles and watch out for the foilers  

So Ben tells her, no matter how directly, that she shouldn't come on the show. And he knows about how she treated Jared. Sounds like Becca already has two strikes against her and I'm guessing it's gonna take a small miracle for Ben to change him mind about her. No wonder both RS and RJ are saying there's like a 0% chance she is gonna be F1.

As messy as this all is, it would be amazing if Becca turned it around and they actually end up together.
