Becca Tilly - Bachelor 20 - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

To me, it's so funny when we talk about Becca not being ready for a proposal at the end of the show. No one is ready! You've been on 3-5 supervised dates with the person, of course you're not ready to commit to a life with them. That's why the show has a 95% failure rate. It's just about who is willing to fake an engagement, so you have the opportunity to actually date and get to know each other. My personal opinion is that Becca wasn't willing to do that with Chris, but she would be willing to do it with Ben, who is her dream guy. I seriously doubt she'll be F1 anyways, so it's probably a moot point.

I have no idea if Becca will or won't be F1 but on the subject of her accepting a proposal if she were to be F1?
While it is par for the course on this show, I think the difference and reason for Becca accepting a proposal is if she falls in love.
She never fell in love with Chris which is why she couldn't accept a proposal, IMO.
So if she falls in love with Ben and he with her, I totally see her accepting a proposal.

thanks for sharing that RJ. I really loved Chris and Becca's story last season and really hoped he'd take a risk and pick her. By the end, I actually really felt for Chris, based on what you mentioned above. Here's this beautiful girl, says she's never been in love, she gradually is opening up to you and getting more and more physical even though her family stresses she isn't usually like that. Then she tells Chris she is falling in love and she hopes she'll get there. But she doesn't get there.

At the time I admired how true to herself she stayed, but I also think she in general is scared of emotional intimacy. It's almost a subtle, subconscious manipulation of men interested in her to me, even though I'm sure Becca doesn't mean it that way. I hope Ben doesn't end up in the same place as Chris if he has feelings for her.

RJ, your recent comments kinda lead me to believe you are family. Have you gotten info recently to lead you to believe Becca might go further than you originally thought? I sure hope so, I just think Becca and Ben would make a great couple! I loved Becca on Chris's season and think he made a mistake not following his heart and choosing her. No matter what I just hate to see Becca get her heart broken. She deserves happiness.

I'm not family, although I can see why you might think that. And nothing has changed. It looks like she'll make it past the episode 5/6 mark, but from what I've been told, I still have no reason to believe Ben will pick her. I do want Ben and Becca to end up together. I think he'd be great for her. I, too, don't want to see Becca get hurt, and I'm dreading if/when that happens. She's arguably the most beautiful person I've ever known...and I'm talking about on the inside. People like Becca are rare. She's a gem. I just want her to be happy.

Ugh, why even keep her on for so long when she has no chance. They must not have enough drama this year.

IDK if "we" know all the recent machinations. 
Maybe there is a perk in it for Becca to have more tv exposure. What that would be any of us could offer several guesses.

I think Becca has a chance just like any of the other girls. I don't know how anyone can know with 100% certainty that it will or won't be her (or any other girl who is still there for that matter)

I agree that if it isn't her I hope he lets her go sooner rather than later for her sake.
