Yea, a lot of time, especially with this show, the people who "seem so perfect" for each other, have no/little chemistry. Also, everyone is always more attracted to the person who doesn't chase them. By coming on this show, Becca is chasing him, more so than just a first time contestant.

No, nothing has changed. I can't get into specifics, but to put it simply, the Ben/Becca shippers are going to be disappointed when she's not F1. As I've said, I don't gamble, but if I were a gambler, I'd bet everything I own that she won't be F1 based on what multiple people have told me. Without any hesitation.

By the time the show is airing, it is possible many of those specifics could be illuminated anyway. 
Just saying that is what we do here: uncover things, figure out things. 
It will be interesting to see if what you have and what the forum figures out matches up.

Agreed on both points! It reminds me of a producer interview Possessionista did (to analyze Unreal)and they said that in the early Bachelor/ette years, only the contestants that they thought would make it far would get handlers and a lot of one-on-one attention and they changed that rule really quickly because they realized that "perfect on paper" didn't equate to real life. A lot of the "filler" contestants would make it very far and even win! Sometimes the F1 is really predictable (Shawn) and sometimes they are not (Catherine).

And, I also agree that leads usually enjoy the chase. Explains why Deanna wanted Graham, Ali wanted Frank, Chris wanted Becca, Des wanted Brooks, and so forth. I also feel like Ben probably doesn't like the fact that this is her second show and what that implies (whether true or not) about her motivations and goals.

In January? I think it will be known when she is eliminated long before that.

This is Ben's second show too, so really, can he judge her return when he is returning as well?

Two very different situations. His second stint is all about him. Her second stint is about her chasing him..

I don't see it that way. Perhaps to her it is opening the door to meet him and seeing where it goes whether interest is there. If she becomes competitive with the girls then that is another matter. But we don't know yet how she is behaving. To me, her going on the show is her basically saying "hi!".

If she wanted to simply say hi, it would've been infinitely easier for her to do so via a phone call or even text. This experience from all accounts is a very draining one - to put your life on hold for however many weeks and to risk embarrassment on national TV. She did that the first time and came out fairly unscathed. But that was the norm, to do this show once because you are looking for "love" or an adventure. Now she's putting herself through the same ordeal not for the novelty of the experience, but specifically for Ben. That is very different than him going on this journey as "The Bachelor" getting to choose among 25 women.

There is definitely a double standard, but I think that being a contestant twice kind of reeks of desperation, whereas being selected for bachelor is a HUGE prize, considering you get paid 100k, get to have billboards of yourself everywhere, get to meet celebrities like Jimmy kimmel and Ellen, and get to have 25 women chasing you.

ETA: love actually beat me to it! Yup, in this age of SM it is very easy to say hi, just like both Cassandra and Tenley were able to do.

Personally, I would prefer looking gorgeous, walking out of a limo in grand style, meeting a man face to face for the first time. Beats a call or text any day. But thats just my opinion.

Since he was chosen early on, I think she thought this her last chance.

It's all a moot point if she is slated to be eliminated soon.
